Not sure about air suspension, since I don’t have that. Heres a pic of the bulge from my front tire. This is at 43.5psi and it’s a little more taut than your original picture.
I thought the same when I first was going thru this, I had a little more bulge in the front. Yours looks similar to what I had before I bumped up the pressure. But remember, our trucks are on the heavy side and most of that weight is up front. So you should run a higher pressure up front and...
I can provide input for the second question. My two cents is wait until you have a day or weekend to do the entire truck. The way I see it, you’re only pushing off the other panels or parts of the truck to another time. Use different methods to be more efficient like using a foam cannon to...
Finally got mine to come…put on d/s one to check out how it’s looks, and I’m really impressed…only issue was the patch Velcro on the headrest sewn on crooked, but I already emailed them and they are going to take care of it:
Try this guy out…been a godsend for me when it comes to taking care of the paint..watching this video gave me confidence I can do wet sanding for scratches myself:
I have an ET and noticed I can control better mileage with the MDS turned off…my MDS comes on way too early and seems to bog down the truck on some of the hills of PA.
I usually get 15-16 in town and 17-18 on the highway. I have larger tires on and don’t drive much, so that’s the reasoning for...
Hello all….I was wondering if anyone here has run the combo of BWoody rear sway bar links with the Hellwig sway bar? It says on their website that the end links have not been tested with aftermarket sway bar. Not sure if they are saying that as a CYA or if indeed it causes issues.
I want to...
+1 for Covers and Camo. I placed an order for mine about 2 weeks ago and they are quoting 6 weeks for manufaturing and delivery. Theyre out of Utah and I’ve found plenty of install videos, including several for a 5th gen Ram.
Other cool thing they offer the Ops package that is integrated to...
I was thinking the same thing and was just as skeptical…but when i noticed a definite change i behavior in my transmission shifting, I went to this board and this thread is what I found. So I figured I would check and my gain was set to +5. Returning it to 0 and the truck went back to the way...
One thought I had was did you put bigger tires on with your lift? If so, did you recalibrate your Speedo? I didn’t recal mine right after bigger tires, but the day I finally got it done, the shifting was way different for the good.
Just to update everyone: spent my entire day running errands all over the valley. I watched the gain setting on my EVIC to make sure it was staying at 0. Shifting was butter smooth and the truck had the old pep back. I really believe this fixed it.
I have no idea how that trailer setting got...
Yep, just checked my trailer settings and mine was at a +5. I didn’t go out for a drive yet to test, but maybe later I can head out and test. Weird how it got changed. Only thing I can say is that maybe the button got bumped when I was cleaning, but that’s usually when the truck is off.
Did this end up helping the shifting? I’ve noticed a change in shifting in the past couple weeks. More so in the upshift around 45mph, thinking that’s in the 5-6 gear range. It really revs over 2k rpm’s and holds that for a while, then shifts. I’ve used to be able to let off the Gas a bit...
