I don't really have any answers for you (helpful, right?) but did want to mention that it might be a bit of a chore to re-gear, as I believe part of the setup is friction welded into place...though I could be mistaken...just wanted to give the heads up in case you wanted to do some research...
the impact is for things like auto-start...if its 80 degrees outside and you autostart it will automatically turn on the AC, but if the truck believes the outside temp is 50 degrees because of an error in the sensor then it won't turn on the AC and might even turn on the heater or heated seats.
these are first world trucks lol. people that pay $60k for a truck likely expect that the sensors actually work. I mean, an accurate instant read thermometer costs less than ten bucks, so not really an excuse here. I agree if it's off by 3 or 4 degrees, then whatever, but if it's off by 10, 20...

Depends on how much you're driving but I have a 2020 with a hemi and my brother has 2020 with ecodiesel and I wish I would have gone the Diesel route as well. When we go camping and he averages 33mpg and I average 16, I kick myself lol
That just isn't true. I'm not sure where that myth came from. You'll get better mpg with diesel whether your on hwy or city. The only thing thats kind of a pain is if you do a lot of short drives, you'll want to run the engine for a minute or two so your turbo can cool. If diesel didn't make...
