I see the offsets that people use vary greatly. I want the tires/wheels to poke out of the fender well just slightly.
I'm thinking a +19 offset on an 18x9 wheel would suite my needs. Assuming that the stock 18x8 wheels have an offset of 19.05 (from what I've read), then the 18x9 +19 would...
While there may be some occurrence of water as it settles (which happens relatively quickly), water is definitely much more present in the colder months. At least, this is how it has always been in my vehicles.
Hmm, that highlights an error in my thinking; I was under the assumption that when Eco mode displayed, that was the MDS kicking in... it seems I have more reading to do!
Any of you that are running larger tires, say 33+, also run in Eco mode?
I've been gauging MPG loss vs tire size and while I want 35's, I don't want to end up with 12mpg like my Silverado.
I will have the 3.92 rear end, which I'm sure will help considerably. However, it seems many people on...

I drove it no less than 4 times (extended dealer joy rides) and sat in their office for a total of 6+ hours, accompanied by endless online research, prior to ordering.
I finally ordered my Nearly decked out Big Horn about 2 weeks ago. At this point, it has a VIN and...
One thing I haven't seen mentioned is how buyers (you and I) are handling themselves with their local dealer.
I've seen mentions of people dropping off their trucks and not hearing back from their dealer for a month or more at a time...That is as much on the buyer as it is the dealer.
I'm not...
As someone who's lived in N.E. for a number of years, most of which I've driven a 4x4 truck...I don't personally think a set of winter shoes are necessary.
I've plowed, and worked in the snow. Been through Snowmageddon.
Everyone has their own level of comfort with slick terrain, but the only...
I hate to waste a thread on this, but hopefully I can get some answers for not only myself, but for others in a similar situation.
I was intending on getting a 6" lift, 35" tire setup. But after reading the notes on every reasonably priced lift I could find, they all require a 20"+ wheel...
