Help me decide: 5'7" or 6'4" bed

Also, even though the 6'4" costs more initially, after a year, the 5'7" bed books for more and continues to appreciate over the 6'4". One interesting fact about the 5'7" vs 6'4". I did this comparison to make my final decision. I do not haul much in the bed so the decision for me was...

    First Dent, not anyone’s fault.....

A rock in the center median rumble strip,. A car coming the other way hit the rumble strip and threw it at my my drivers door. We were both going around 55. It really stinks. I do not think the paint is broken. The closest PDR is 3 hours away.... I guess it had to happen at some point. The...

    Anyone else???

I paid $25 per tire for a road force balance. Most GM dealers do it as well.

    Anyone else???

Get your tires Road Force balanced. If it’s tire related it will find it and correct it or tell you that you have a bad tire or wheel. Many Ram dealers do it and some tire shops. They use a Hunter M9000 balancer and it’s always a perfect balance.

    Price Paid - Big Horn

That is very similar to the incentives in mid 2020. I priced my truck up with incentives in July 2020 when bought (for about 5k less than the standard incentive cost from the website, and a few times in late 2020. The prices were all the same. In 2021 I priced it a few times as a 2021...

I swapped my winter tires/wheel for my “night’s”. What a difference in the look of the truck.

    Should I add this upgrade

And the 8.4 does not have as many complaints as the 12.1. Just do a search, you may be happy you have the 8.4, Although I agree the 12.1 looks awesome. But looks are not everything.....

Must make three payments then you can refinance?

Exactly. I saw nothing in my contract, called the finance company to confirm, I was told the same from the dealer and refinanced in 3 days after I got home. Scoundrels!

    RAM1500 Tri‑Fold Tonneau Cover

I think it's the standard ram tri-fold soft tonneau cover. That's what the photos on the website show and what my co-workers new 2021 limited night crew has for a cover. I was unaware of another option. Do you want to see a photo of my 2020 OEM tri fold cover open? Mine is a 5'7". I love...

5th Gen Ram 1500: The $65,000 truck that will end up costing you much more

Good to see you got it fixed. It sucks to have to pay it out though. Can I ask how often you change your oil and what oil you use? I do not know if I have heard of many broken valve springs in Hemi’s. I have had 3 hemis prior to this truck and never had an internal engine issue, to 148k...

My 2020 was a $54k sticker, I paid $44k with rebates and discount, (July 2020).

What did you do to your Ram today???

I did a full wax with Turtlewax Seal and Shine. If it took 15 mins, I would be surprised. 3 micro fibers, Winter gloves, hat and coat. Great stuff and it was 30 degrees F. No freezing and my truck looks great. I also peeled the dealer sticker off the back. It was coming loose anyway. So a...

    4X4 Issue

perfectly normal. The Warlocks have Manual 4WD, not Auto, so when in 4x4 mode there is a direct connect to the transfer case. The 4WD does not modulate, it's 50/50 front to back all the time when in 4x4 mode. For the Auto 4WD models, power is modulated to the front only when slip is detected...

    DIY bed liner

We did my sons F150 with the Rustoleum 2 part Epoxy system. It worked great and has held up flawlessly. It took us about 4 hours. https://5thgenrams.com/community/threads/rustoleum-roll-in-2-part-bedliner-installation.24386/ I would have done my new RAM, but the drop in bedliner was $149...

Wife curbed her tire, is this safe?

Get a new one for sure. If worn some, look for a used replacement on ebay to match the tread wear depth. I have done that 3 times and the tires have been perfect, identical to what was on my vehicle) and under $75 with free shipping. I just ordered one for my sons $299 Michelin on his F150...
