I'm going to wait until I HAVE to go in to get any non-critical recalls done, especially ones that aren't going to affect day to day operation of the truck.
Has anyone experienced really hard downshifts from 6-5 under medium acceleration? It would also do it occasionally on 7-5, but it was always 5th gear. I was on a roadtrip recently, and it was acting a bit more 'aggressive' than normal on that particular downshift, to the point where I thought...
I use the MFT a lot, usually for my mountain bike. I don't like the new Ford one that only opens one way. What exactly are you loading/unloading that you don't need access to the whole bed?
I like the folding Covercraft ones. Had them in all my cars/trucks. Stay away from the Husky clones. They smell and start to warp almost immediately. WT is nice if you want rolling (y)
The newer Wranglers (JL/JT) must use the exact same switch/step/resistor, as the lighting behavior is identical. Useless during the day with the lights on, or welding arc at night.
They used to be a solid lower priced German made battery. They've changed the plant to S. Korea and a reduction of CCA, so no longer the value leader, imo. Quality tbd. I just paid the extra for a Diehard H8 Platinum from Advance auto to remove that variable.
I replaced the bed rail caps when I replaced the tonneau. Ordered them through ebay and the tonneau through real truck. Tailgate is not easy to replace (I have the multi-function one).
