You are at the mercy of the dealership for now, keep hammering them and don't let up. I've been through this with VW years ago and it worked out in the end... Then Dieselgate happen and they had to hand us a check for 16k and buy back my wife's 6yo diesel Jetta, was a great feeling.

Just curious, does the UC5 have an actual "reset" or do you still have to disconnect the battery? I could never comprehend the lack of a reset button or combination of buttons for the 12" UC4... ***(when I refer to reset, I mean like a soft restart, like you would with a PC, Xbox, router, etc...)***

What this all tells us is that one, they still don't have their **** together regarding these radios and two, UC4 users are screwed and will probably never get and any fixes/patch's, etc...

Wow, I don't get it then. As I've stated a few times, the whole Uconnect-infotainment experience is a confusing mess with little to no help from them. I guess someone with the new UC5 can chime in, I thought travel link still came with everything.

If you have a SXM account setup with the truck (which I assume you do) login and send a refresh signal (or you can call I suppose). That might clear the issue up. Unless the UC5 is not associated with Sirius XM travel link anymore? I'd be really surprised if this part of the infotainment...

You are 100% correct and this is why I have some ill will towards Uconnect... Having dealt with them a few times via email, twitter, etc I have concluded that they are completely out of touch with their products, give only scripted answers and take zero responsibility for their poorly supported...

Can you provide a little more details on how the update made things worse? Did you lose features or is it performing worse, etc...Is it just the Nav or did it screw up other features on the radio? Maybe Uconnect can roll it back to the previous version if its that bad, although I highly doubt...

Yeah, the road color is probably supposed to correspond to traffic conditions (like Google maps/Waze) however It has never worked correctly that I have noticed. I believe something is broken with the way the radio pulls its data from SXM. That's why the traffic and weather never update correctly...
