It's good that you asked the question here, and hopefully feel more confident that you made the right call. I have a nephew who works as a service advisor at a CDRJ dealership, and he recently told me that his manager was telling them to push transmission service for the 8 speeds when they come...
I have the 8.4 in my 2014 and 12 in the 2021. I still drive the 2014 often, but I've gotten to where I like the 12 a lot more than the 8.4. I very rarely have passengers, so it's certainly not because of the WOW factor for others to be impressed, like someone mentioned earlier. Moronic...
When I compared the WT to the Husky, the Husky was about 1" longer. I went with the Husky and they look and work good. I have WT mudguards on my 2014, and they've been great too, but we all know that 1" can make a big difference.
Here's a pic of my driver's seat with 750 miles on the truck. I'm 6'4", 250lbs. Not sure if it matters, temps here have been anywhere from 5f to 60f. Took the picture it was 40f. When the seat is cold, it takes a bit longer to lose the imprints after I get out.
No. If you don't have the Ramboxes, then the black rails are fine. I'm not even sure that non-rambox trucks have anything other than black rails. You shouldn't have any issues if you get the MX4, or pretty much any other tonneau.
So the truck had the oem tonneau already on it? If it doesn't, then it should have the silver rails save not the black rails. Having the oem tonneau is pretty much what determines which rails the truck will have. You didn't mention if it will have the Ramboxes. If it doesn't have Ramboxes...
Same happened to me last week after some hard braking and swerving to avoid traffic that was stopped on the interstate. The lights stayed on the rest of the drive home, but I haven't had them come back on since then.
I used gorilla tape over those holes on my 2014, the tape has held up great for over 5 years. I also live on a dirt road, and after trying to dust proof my 2014 for the last 7 years, I'm convinced that it's almost impossible, but I'm still going to try and get it done with the 2021. I never...
On my 2020 Limited, the temperatures that the climate system was set to were visible at the top of the screen on either side of the click, but my 2021 Limited isn't showing these temps. I went through all of the settings, but I must be missing something. My tiles are set to media on top and...
Now that dealers know that people are willing to travel to get the best deal, it's typically not to difficult to get local dealers to match or try to beat a deal that may be 2000 miles away. I bought my 21 local, but it was actually more enjoyable when I bought my 20, 1000 miles away in...
I'm in Southern Colorado and it took 9 weeks and 1 day. Ordered on November 12 and picked it up last Friday. I'm not sure why, but they drove it down from Denver instead of trucking it.
On the trucks with Ramboxes, do not order the factory tonneau, and you will get silver rails. If you order with the factory tonneau, you'll get the black rails, and most aftermarket tonneaus won't work with the black rails.
If you're talking about the rails that come with the BUG, then you won't have any problems with the Swingcase. It's one of the first things I added to my 20, and after installing them, I wished I'd gone with the Ramboxes. The Swingcase is great, it just made me realize that I don't use the...
