my photo skills lack - and yep - shot right into the am sun... that said - here she is after the install. approx 1/2 inch rake - but I like it - "a llawt" (channeling my Lloyd Christmas)
my mechanic expressed some similar concern prior to starting the work. We agreed that IF he felt there would be issues getting the stock perch off stock strut, he'd stop and we'd determine the path forward. IE - purchase new spring perches or whatever. I can't state specifically what he did -...
yes - I used the stock springs (NON ORG) and upper control arms. All I added were Eibach front struts/rear shocks and they were installed using all other stock hardware/componentry.
Don't hesitate to contact Eibach - they were great and responsive and I suspect will guide you just fine.
On...
I told Eibach I was primarily looking to level the front and improve ride quality. Most driving is highway and some gravel roads but nothing truly "off-road". They recommended stock springs for what I was after with their shocks vs their springs. Ride is better in that its more composed...
Alright - so here goes.
After a solid 5-6 weeks of researching, reading, listening etc - I decided to go the Eibach route for my truck. Part of the decision was if I bought it out from lease or went new. Well - bought it out - for many solid reasons but not the point here.
I contemplated top...
best seller feedback I just received.
They are not even available for us to order until the end of April. It looks like they are going through a supplier change or a redesign.
apparently the ebay sellers have been mis-representing - my order was refunded as they were NOT stocking them but fronting Mopar. Soooooo - no end links I can find anywhere.
Anyone know about just replacing the bushings components of the stock pieces???
Well - it was a heck of a journey - but finally found some end links. Mopar nationwide and the numerous independent front end stores may show in stock, available but currently via Mopar they are on a national backorder.
The only way to find them was if someone was sitting on pre-ordered...
I will state this - local dealers aside and end links as well - I have never enjoyed a vehicle as much as this truck. I've owned some nice vehicles over the years as well. My extremely finicky wife likes my trucks ride and interior better than her 19 Acura MDX (and so do i).
I've never...
Air ride was optional on some models and only standard on Limiteds. Your sig shows a tradesman and I don't believe you could get air on that in 19 (but I might be mistaken). Sounds like the independent shop is a "good" shop. I've been fortunate to find a couple in my community. Ram dealers...
Affirmative what Jeffjad is stating - I've exhausted many searches and doesn't seem to be anything but stock links and LOTS of folks replacing them cuz they are pretty weak/suck (per my independent shop owner!
unfortunately the Eibach end links are currently a no go for our truck. In my support ticket I referenced the Ram 1500 community would love a high quality end link option. Who knows - maybe they will consider.
in lookin for replacement shocks/struts for a level and maybe small lift (think Bilsein 5100) etc.. I came across the Eibach site and they make what appear to be very legit, more significant - and fully customizable end links for sway bars... Im checking with them on our trucks and will update.
aaaah - the ol warranty "out'clauses" in effect. Well - my dealer completely denied any issues were present 2x... now im out of warranty and plan to replace. Since aftermarket options are few if any and the Mopar part is like $25 - gonna order online and have my local personal shop do the...
