If I had to guess...a lot of people in southern states who need a truck but do not need 4x4. That's what I have picked up in a lot of posts and signatures. Up north there is almost zero chance you are getting a 4x2 truck even though for half the year or more That's all you're running.
Where is everyone getting their micro fiber towels and what brand do you prefer? Slim pickings in the auto stores. Obviously looking for something that won't scratch and want drying and some to apply some of the spray in coatings that are out there. Also what is the preferred detergent to wash...
Is that still your got to soap? Does it work with a foam cannon? Might be a silly question as I'm new to it and think there is specific soap for the cannon...but what do I know? Lol! I was thinking of trying the Gtechniq line
Thanks for that tip. I am planning on trying a different soap for my next wash as well. I used CG honeydew and was not impressed. It seemed to leave streaks and spots. I've never had to deal with water spots using the carwash and drying it myself...I was not expecting to see them washing at home
Isn't there an outlet in the front...or you have zero outlets? Can't say I ever missed not having a rear outlet. maybe give it some time. Messing with the electrical in these trucks can be hit or miss based on reading posts.
I came from always buying Chevy and had a Silverado...I am on my second Ram. Absolutely no regrets and no concerns. Now I do have etorque for the first time so that remains to be see...but if I ever went back to Chevy/GMC I would now be concerned with reliability. Just spent 3 hours washing this...
So did my first wash with foam cannon and then mitt. I used CG Honeydew Foam soap. Rinsed and drying I have water spots. What's the best way/ product to get those out? Do I have to rinse and dry again? It is sunny so I know I didn't get it dried quick enough...first time things are a big...
I refuse to replace mine right now. I'll have to pay to have it tinted again and I am sure it will never be the same....my luck I'll end up with wind noise or my ANC won't work.
I dunno what it is but something is different...truck was less than a month old and BAM took a good sized rock right in the middle of the wondshield. I can count on less than one hand how many times that has happened in my years of driving and here we are 2 RAMS and 2 took rocks to the windshield
My 2023 has some black streaks baked into the top driver's side corner...it's out of eye view but I know it's there. Just careless and not worth risking a full replacement.
Power memory seats and the better stereo would be enough for me...that's what gets your resale value. People want those things in a used vehicle because they quickly realize that they missed out originally...case in point. LOL! Never once used my trailer brake controller in my rebel. Preferred...
Quick pic after a 2 step paint correction, polymer sealant and Gtechniq C2V3 Liquid Crystal top coat. Got it done last Friday but has been sitting in the garage all week waiting for the rain to pass 😅
