When I was a kid, we drove with the windows open most of the time. That allowed me to use a coin to tap against the backseat outside window frame as my dad drove. Tapped Faster when he went faster, slowed as he slowed. And not every time. Only once or twice a month. 😆
I‘ve read several posts regarding warped Ramboxes, but i’d Like to see a picture. Are they warping upward on the front and back ends So not to be flush with the bed side caps, or is this warping on the fender side where the latch doesn‘t fit flush?
You can still use Waze even without cell service. The company I used to work for had an “car engine on, cellphone off” rule for a few years. A couple years later they modified it. When driving for company business, we had to put the phone in airplane mode to allow use of GPS.
I’ve loaded routes...
Thank you.
Here’s a link to one thread Motoryan716 posted in 5th Gen General Discussion

I’m logged in and can view most all threads, but occasionally I’ll click on a thread and it’ll take me to a page that reports 5thgenrams.com Access Restricted.
Admins, why would this happen? And if it’s a setting from the thread poster which restricts who can view their thread, why would we see...
That’s nearly the same fit as mine. I put a pool noodle on the front wall to keep from scratching the front bumper. I also have a reference mark on the wall so I can use the front camera to indicate when I’m less than an inch from the wall. That leaves me about 1 1/2 inches for the door. Don’t...
Right up front, I have very little knowledge on this subject, so please forgive if this doesn’t make sense. But given the cost associated to having an external tank added, wouldn't it make sense to apply that money toward a 33 gallon tank which meets standards, is safer, and can allow...
I’ve always liked the ability to tilt the panel to vent heat when parked in the sun. Every other car and truck I’ve had allows the panel to tilt open while allowing the shade to be closed, or open, to any setting. That way I could vent heat while the shade was only sli open and blocking radiant...
The owner also has the option to go through his insurance company, which will likely have to determine and payout diminished value. I turn his insurance would file against the dealer’s insurance to recoup. That would cost the dealer‘s insurance more money. That option can be used as leverage...
All states, except Michigan, recognize diminished value and insurance companies pay that everyday. So unless this dealer is in Michigan, it easy to say they have a responsibility beyond just repairing it.
“Diminished Value”
The dealer likely knows that in addition to the repair, they would have to compensate for diminished value. That can be determined, there are formulas and actuarial tables etc. to arrive at that number. There are companies that provide that service. What that means, is in...
I haven’t heard the argument that it obstructs the rear view mirrors. But I have heard they claim it blocks view of the tail lights/turn signals if viewed from an angle.
I got it. Downloaded it. Once completed, it prompted to review what was new but when I selected the button, it did show anything. But everything seems to be working .
I had the same experience on a trip to Big Bend, but would add that moments after the noise began I could feel a slight increase in the volume of air from the vents.
