I did the same thing when I got my 2019 Laramie Sport lol! I sold it during the crazy covid/chip shortage prices but been missing it ever since. I found a few used rebels locally but they are overpriced and all mega cabs. Also, used car APR prices are insane!
Still trying to figure out a plan...
I'm curious if the black rocker panel guards on rebel doors are removable. I've been looking to get a rebel, and most I find have them, but I've found some pictures online without them.
Had anyone installed a set of Bilstein 6112 on level 5 (1.5") and added a 2" tophat spacer?
I currently have 6112 in the front and 5160 with crayon 2.5 in the rear and I have almost 2 inches of rake. If I could get the front up another inch it wouldn't look as bad and still be functional.
Sorry I didn't post what I got because I still need to install everything ( I'm slacking I know).
For the front : 6112, 1/2" spacer, RC UCA.
For the rear: 5160, Clayton 2.5" springs, core 4x4 upper and lower control arms, freedom off-road track bar, hellwig sway bar.
And than 18" black method...
Is everyone having update and wifi problems only non nav? I have a 8.4 w/nav and was curious. Also with the nav do you still need to repin the connector?
There is tons of good info in this thread. Thank you everyone!
Shock wise, is the bilstein setup worth the increase in cost? The bilstein's have bigger shock bodies and the rears have the remote reservoirs but what else would be different? I honestly don't know much about the RC and just curious.
Yeah I get what your saying. My truck will never be an "off-road" vehicle but it will see the occasional dirt road. I have other toys to beat up in the desert lol.
If I can't find the bilstein's I might just go this route.
I was looking at the loaded struts. I know the bilstein are great I've had them on other vehicles. Just worried my tires will need to be replaced before they come back into stock.
As for offroading, anything I will be doing will be extremely minimal. My truck has only gone into 4x4 3x since 2019...
I had my mind set on buying the bilstein 6112/5160 setup with icon springs and UCAs once my oem tires needed to be replaced. For the last few months I've been waiting for the bilstein's to come back into stock but nothing! I have a few thousand miles left on my tires and I'm getting worried.
I...
