Different angle. I'm putting 34" tires on this week. I'll post the difference. Ride quality with the front 2" struts is a little bit firmer than stock but I prefer that. It's not harsh at all. If it helps, I have 8.5" from top of the tire to the fender in front and 9.5" in the rear.
To start with I am using my OEM shocks. If the ride suffers then yes i'll be exchanging the rear shocks out for some Bilsteins 5100's at some point. I wanted to try it this way for a bit to see before spending more money.
I just got my motofab 1.5" rear installed. I have the RC 2" level struts upfront. Terrible angle for the picture, sorry. I'm sitting 1" higher in the rear right now which is what I was hoping for. The front might settle some more but that's okay. 34" tires will be going on this week.
I just bought the ATP2 from discount tire direct in 34" ( 275/65/20) I don't have them mounted yet, to I needed to wait for my TPMS sensors for my new wheels. This true has everything I was looking for. Aggressive look with long mile warranty. I'm happy to see others considering it and buying...
thank you. I did just see a video that shows that tool. I wish I had seen that before I tried pushing. I ripped one of the rubber casings. Just had to order another sensor. I also ordered the tool. Thanks for the info.
So I've ordered a new set of tires and wheels for my 21 big horn. I bought OEM Ram tpms sensors just to avoid any issues with the system. I can NOT get these installed into my new wheels. Holy heck it's a super tight fit. I assumed they would be the screw on type but they aren't. I've tried to...
Update! I tried to install the trailer tpms sensos on the new wheels and they looked terrible. They definitely are not the right ones. So I ordered OEM sensors for the wheels. Holy **** they are hard to install. I literally can't push them through the holes. I've tried with WD-40 and still no...
I decided to go with the same setup you have. I did find the 1" ball with t-bolt on Amazon so I didn't need to pay the $18 shipping through Ram mounts. Looking forward to getting all this and hooking it up.
So after closer inspection I do seem to have the same style back plate on my monitor as you, however this is so light in still thinking the magnetic end will hold just fine. Where in NC are you? I lived in University side of Charlotte for about 5 years. I'm hoping to retire back in that area...
That looks fantastic! You definitely have a heavier duty looking monitor. I won't need the t-bolt. I just received the camera access monitor today and it's light enough I believe just the magnetic end will hold it fine. I'll post a few pictures in a little bit. Thank you very much.
Thanks for the info. i'm gong to have a local garage do the spacer for me at the same time I get my new wheels and tires mounted and ballanced. I would think with a full garage lift they can just lower the rear axle enough to put the spacer on the perch and reinstall the spring without need to...
did you start with the ORP springs in the back? I just installed the rough country 2" coilover struts in front and i'm now sitting at 39" and my stock rear without ORP springs is at 38.25" which of course is .75" rake in the WRONG direction..I have the motofab 1.5" spacer to install in the rear...
Happy labor day to you as well. I might be wrong but I thought a 3" front well require new control arms. If you are talking about a kit with those included then I think your good.
