I have McGaughy’s 2” rear lowering springs and recently cut 3/4” off them. the rear is now a 1/4” higher then the front. Will add helper bags later if I plan on towing anything. I also installed the Hellwig sway bar so no more water wagon sway. The ride is just as smooth as stock.
Mine was even on both sides but driver side would be 1/4” lower with full tank. So I cut the driver side spring 1/8” higher. So when tank empty driver side will be 1/8” higher full tank passenger side will be 1/8” higher and 1/2 tank both sides even. That way looks even no matter how much gas...
Hi you say your original was one in and one out like mine why did you switch to one in and 2 out. Also with the 40349 did you keep your resonators and if so did it drone bad when the mds kicked in. Thanks
Lowered the rear another 3/4” now the rear is only a 1/4” higher then the front in case I want to put something in the back. But can’t seem to take a good pic if my life depended on it.
Lowered the rear another 3/4” to make it almost level. Left the rear a 1/4” hire just in case I put something heavy in the back. Also installed infinity 3032’s in the rear headliner now have done all but front doors. Just do not know what I want to put up there. Sorry for the crappy pic sunset...
You will never be able to adjust it enough to make up for the highs that those single speakers put out like two ways will do. Also you will get more base by changing out the rear doors. But to each there own the alpine is definitely much better then the base system.
For those of you that have the alpine system and have replaced your front door speakers. What did you use and how did they sound in comparison to the stock ones?
Hi guys does anyone have a wire diagram for the alpine 9 speaker system. I am seeing one for the 6 speaker system but can’t seem to find one for the 9 speaker system. Thanks for any help.
for those getting the straight through packed mufflers are you noticing any loss of low end torque? And if so I wonder if the chambered mufflers would be better for low end torque.
