2019 Ram 1500 Big Horn Keeps Dying Overnight

I just responded on the thread you opened up. As part of the pollution control system wouldn’t this be part of the longer than bumper to bumper warranty?

    What's killing my battery

What’s wrong with the warranty? 25k on a 19 should still be valid.

3.6 "feel" related to sound deadening?

Sounds like what is called “Body Boom” where the vibrations just so happens to trigger an audible sound from the body. So the NVH engineers have work to do.

Meet The Ram 1500 “Black Widow Edition” By SCA Performance:

Every single time I think I've found a BH spec'd the way I like it, go to dealer site and they put this stupid cr*p on it. Going to have to order....

    2022 Ram

Wouldn't be a bad thing if the next grand wagoneer or Cherokee's independent Suspension got used on a Dakota/Durango.

If you use an insurance agent, give them the job of sending a runner to the registry of motor vehicles. I am an insurance agent and our runner earns just $25 for every set of vehicle documents he takes there.

    Price negotiated from MSRP

If you are buying a mega cab, that’s the 2500/3500. Therefore a price premium over a 1500 is to be expected. Assume you’ll meant crew cab.

    Retrofitting the 33 gallon tank

No way am I going to buy a 23 or 26 gallon tank from the FS to. 33 will allow me much more freedom on my long runs. Being able to minimize stops is a good thing health wise.

Rocky Mountains Ram owners...what octane gas do you use?

The lower air density is your guide. Because the air is less dense, less air flows to your car's engine. This translates to a slightly richer air-fuel ratio, and deters engine knock. For that reason, you'll find that regular gas carries an 85 octane rating here in Denver and throughout...

Update: DO NOT BUY RAM WITH RAMBOX - Warping and Alignment Issue with 2019 Rams

Every car truck maker has a forum named after them and people naturally use a forum to report a problem or er troll about a problem. First vehicle I got with a sunroof, I loved. But that was 20 years ago. I'm less loving them now due to glare so it's a $1500 option that I'm not so sure about...

Trade in program for Etorque that’s what needs to happen!

E torque adds weight, and nothing of value imho. I'd rather a simple hemi with the extra weight in the 33 gallon tank

    Recommended vs REQUIRED oil spec

I spend more time than ever in the Carolinas where diesels are way more common and every other HD truck is Cummins powered.

V6 hard shifts when engine is cold

An old zf equipped Land Rover did hard shifts in cold weather. Solution was, after starting, shift into neutral for a few seconds and allow the fluid to warm up that way rather than in park. It might just allow more fluid to warm up. Give it a try.

    Recommended vs REQUIRED oil spec

That's exactly the only Hangup I have about the ecodiesel. Being confident enough to have a dealership that sees enough of them to know what oil to put in. They don't sell many diesel 1500 in boston area so how deep is the well of knowledge when it's time for servicing? I really do wonder how...
