Have them test fuel pressure as well. But I suspect if the harness moved when it goes into gear they are on to something.
Please locate bad harness on truck so others can check theirs. Bet this is a recall material.

Don’t try to run the winch off the trailer 7 pin. Nowhere need the power available. You need to have a battery on the trailer. The trailer wiring will be able to trickle recharge it. Solar panel helps to.
