I’m coming from the Truxedo LoPro which served me well on my 2019, but I did not like how I had to unclip it every time I opened my tailgate.
I went with the Lomax Stance on my new truck, and hands down a better all around cover. It’s very easy to open and close. While I wasn’t thrilled about...
Reviving an old thread as I’m curious if this has been updated since the last post.
It can be 9:00am in the morning with the Florida sun shining and if I hit the shadow of the tree my screen goes into night mode. My 2019 had the 8.4” screen, but I assume the sensor was the same and it never had...
I drove it 50 miles on the interstate state, and I do think it is more of a mental thing than anything. I never paid attention to the amount of vibration/movement in the steering wheel with my stock tires on. Certain surfaces on the road you don't feel anything, and other parts of the road you...
I had the Ram Connected Services issue where I could add my truck to the app, but it said it was in process of adding the vehicle, but the vehicle was never added. It was about two weeks before they got it figured out, and now everything works as it should.
I have periodic issues with the...
Follow up on this:
I took the car in to a new tire shop that has road force balancing (Discount Tire). They said all four wheels were not in balance. The balanced them. Had the car on the highway today, and no steering wheel shake, which I am thrilled about.
I do notice that there is quite a...
Curious your guys' thoughts on this. I am going to get my tires re-balanced tomorrow since I have a slight wobble at highway speeds. I went from the stock tire size 285/45/22 to 33x12.5r22. The total diameter did not seem drastic enough to need a new alignment, but just wanted to see if you guys...
Great, really appreciate the feedback. I just made an appointment for Thursday morning to take it in. Hopefully this will take care of things. I tend to believe it is a balancing issue since the wheels were takeoffs from a friend and tires are new.
I'll circle back with results.
I have all tires at 40psi. It is definitely only as speed. I was under the car last night putting on some Husky Mudflaps and did not see any components touching the UCAs. I will double check tonight though.
I do not have a level on the truck. Being the limited it has the air suspension. When...
Hey everyone, I searched the forums on steering wheel vibrations but it sounds like most folks that have issues are from the factory, not after a tire install.
I just had installed 33x12.5r22 Terra Grappler G2 tires installed on my OEM Limited 22-inch Wheels. They look great. The only problem...
Results are in:
- No broken mirror glass. I got a little impatient and did not use heat. I used the orange suction cup, and they came off a lot easier than expected.
- Difficulty for me came when removing the caps when came time to disengage the clips. The clips were really brittle and just...
Hey every, great information across the board here. I appreciate seeing everyone's feedback. My caps arrived today, so I am going to give this a go this weekend before applying my ceramic coating on the car. It looks like there are two approaches (pry with a screwdriver or suction cup), and I...
Quick question for you guys that have the Limited, with the air suspension, can the factory end-links coupled with the 7709 Sway Bar handle the Off-Road 2 height, or did you have to get the 7883 lifted model with the adjustable end links?
Thank you!
I confirmed this morning that it was absolutely the redlight cams, which is an option I have selected on the computer to warn. Really appreciate bringing clarity on this. Great feature, just wish it could be volumed down and maybe one or two beeps.
Seat belt is always on.
@Rebel2022, I think you are on to something here. I will check that first thing in the morning, but I do recall one of the intersections I was approaching when I heard it definitely does have a red light camera.
Thank you for these suggestions!
Hey everyone, last week I traded my 2019 Big Horn on a whim for a 2022 Limited. It was hard to pass up getting about $6K more on my trade than I originally paid for it (not to mention that I would assume we will be seeing decent jumps in the MSRP of new vehicles to align with this inflation). I...
This has been my exact experience. I have nav, and it did not auto-calibrate. Only when hardwired in on Waze into the CarPlay does it show I am "calibrated," but as soon as I unplug, I am off 2-3 MPH.
Can anyone that claims to have auto-calibrated confirm their speed is the same as Waze when...
I’ve never been very good at physics, and I think that’s what my question pertains to:
Would it be expected that there would be the same stiffness feel (or right there around) for a stock height truck on the middle setting as it would be it a leveled truck on the medium setting?
When my truck...
I am hoping I am one of the "lucky" ones that does not have to manually recalibrate their speedometer when changing tire size. My truck has navigation, so I am hoping that is the key.
For those that had it automatically recalibrate, how long did it take? I do not often drive my truck long...
