I had a friend suggest once to let someone else do the first oil change since the filters are torqued so tight from the factory. I've only owned three new vehicles and followed his advice each time, so I don't have a point of reference. I'm sure others can weigh in here as to if it's a problem.

Do you have the limited slip differential? It could be an issue with the clutch pack? I had an F-250 with similar symptoms (but felt slipping as it happened). A new clutch pack in the LSD fixed the problem.
