How do I get to the "outlet" location?

I have an inverter and outlets at the ready, but I couldn't find the loose connector for the inverter. I'm guessing it needs to be a Big Horn Level 2, not level 1. Did you have a photo showing where the wiring was? I found the mounting bracket, but no easily locatable wires with the correct...

    Towing sway

I'm guessing you've got a weight distribution with chains. I'd change over to an E2 or Equalizer as mentioned if you're on a budget. Those can frequently be found on FB Marketplace around $200-250 (how I found mine). I'm coming from a chain set up also and it changed everything. Blue Ox and...

    Cleaning speaker grills?

Paint brush to knock it loose. Low air pressure (like a breeze from the tail end of a shop vac) to clear it works for me. Wait wait.. like actual staining? Or dirty water staining?

Level kit install = ripped torn drive axle outer cv boot

The differential is offset but there's a bracketed extension piece that allows the same one to be used. So yes, good that it's the same and interchangable; bad that they don't have a $20 plus time fix for a "wear" item. I use that term loosely.

Level kit install = ripped torn drive axle outer cv boot

I thought about this actually and do think it would be smart, though I didn't do much research as I was in a pinch. 1.5" level is as mild as I could find, so I figured I'm probably fine for awhile. If anyone knows where to get them outside of a full lift kit let me know.

Level kit install = ripped torn drive axle outer cv boot

I wanted to state it here because I couldn't find the info through a search: The drive axle is intended to be one piece and you CANNOT buy just a CV Axle Boot Kit. After having the parts for over a year, I finally decided to take an opportunity to install the level. Unfortunately for me...

Curious what my best sway prevention solution would be

Haha. Very true about the tongue weights. Make sure that's there first.

Curious what my best sway prevention solution would be

Fair question. Yes, I still feel it pull when passing a semi or getting hit with a gust of wind, but it's not a doughy, white knuckle situation. Instead, you feel it move like you're on rollercoaster tracks that just had a bend... Taking out the side rolling dough feeling helps tremendously...

Curious what my best sway prevention solution would be

Definitely start with hellwig. It changed my experience with my travel trailer. I have a wdh and it's always been squirrely. It's rated for 1000# tongue and 10000# tow and is too much bar for my 5000# max travel trailer. I just use a standard ball now and it's definitely better with the hellwig...

    eTorque vs. Hemi

I bought one for the same reasons as OP was interested in... Ultimately, I feel the fuel savings is from sitting idle and the auto-shutoff. I drive short distances and stop very frequently, so I actually really like the shut down. Kicks on much more quickly than the Pacifica and more smoothly...

Carli Performance with Timber Grove airbags

The timber Groves will give you about an inch at recommended bag psi. A slight bump up in psi will get an inch and half, but also a bit different stiffer ride. More closely matching a 2500, but it'd be level

I don't use wipers... Literally just rain x.

    Truck rear end sway

It is a bit of a difficult explanation to the wife why you dropped $40+ on a new truck and the backend sags with a little mulch and that you have to spend $600+ on a good WDH to tow only one item well. I did the upgrades (again, around $600) so I can have as much flexibility to use it as a...

    Truck rear end sway

One that isn't proper for the weight. It's a 1000# tongue and 10000# weight hitch with chains from harbor freight. No sway control on it. Being that the TT is "light", I'm perfectly happy with the current setup that I have. Timber Groves or Sumo springs or Timbrens and absolutely the Hellwig...

Console Swap: Need help adding Factory Inverter and Charging Pad

I just found this thread. I was searching for the same info a few months back but couldn't find anything for 5th gen. Like you, I found no harness ready to accept the inverter or outlets, which leads me to believe you truly must have equipment level 2. I'm still toying with the idea of being...

    Truck rear end sway

For what it's worth, I tow around 5000# with about 600# tongue weight. The truck does better without the WDH. I have the hellwig, 10 ply e rated tires, and Timber Grove bags [these technically make the front of the truck lighter].

    Rear window leak

Should be covered. Mine is cracked and covered under the 3 year/36,000 mile warranty. It's not leaking crazily (just the occasional water drop outline on the inside window, no staining) so I've not ran back in to get it fixed. I don't like the idea of fixing a problem just to have the same...

    Rear Seat Media Hub

I forgot to follow up. I definitely didn't find success. Not surprisingly, the main wiring harness is different between the different equipment groups. I do not have anywhere to simply plug and play with the inverter.

    Hellwig? Hell, yeah!

Same experience as everyone else, but started on firmest because I tow a 4400-4800# SINGLE axle camper, which tends to sway. I have the Timber Groves on 7 or 8psi (soft, daily driving) without a trailer and it reduces the body roll. I took a turn quite sharply and felt the front end roll a bit...

    Rear Seat Media Hub

I bought two outlets and the 400w inverter for my big horn, so I'll find out soon enough if it's a plug and play. I didn't know the usb/usb-c piece existed, but that would be nice to have as well. I may look into that. Will try to follow-up when I dig into it, which won't be for another couple...
