You are the man! Much appreciated going through the hassle of that. I don’t think the drop will change the geometry too much to have an impact based on the photos you took - if anything it might get a little closer to the bumper bracket/fender liner.
305/45 are also $80 cheaper than the factory...
Aai, are you at stock height? How well do these fit? I really want to do this tire size with toyo proxies, just worried it’s going to rub a lot once I do the 2/4 drop. I also did the rough math on it and thought it would be really close to the UCA.
Based on your guys expirience, what do you think is the largest tire we could go with on a 2/4 drop? I picked up a set of sport wheels for mine, currently stockpiling everything to make the maxtrac 2/4 drop work on my ORP truck. Rims came without tires, so I’m torn between running the 285/45/22...
I wasn’t referring to the ones with studs. I was more referring to the ones that are Basicially just a washer that would go between the hub and the rim. Sounds like you guys are having good luck with the 1” and the 1.25” ones, maybe I’ll just go with the bora ones and call it a day
Does anyone know how reliable .25” spacers are, or have a good recommendation for them? I’d like to run 305/45/22 on the factory 22” sport wheels, and just get it a little further from the UCA. Mathematically, I should already have .15” away from it (.75 as it stands now from a 275/55/20, and...
I reached out to MaxTrac Suspension about the 2/4 drop and if they tested it at all. Turns out they did:
“When recently working on a “North Edition” I found that because the truck had a factory 1” lift front and rear, Ram made a rear trac bar bracket on the axle 1” taller than the normal one...
Here’s a weird one...
Call me crazy, call me stupid - but I’m really interested in lowering my truck, however it’s got the off-road package on it. When I bought it I didn’t do my homework on the package, I thought it was just skid plates, axle lock, and AT tires. Didn’t know it came with an...
Anyone have any experience adding in some extra speakers? Thinking of adding the tweeters on the doors on the trim piece that covers the mirror - I just can’t find a part number for the piece with the speaker grille on it. Can’t imagine it being plug and play either.
Currently sitting at the...
