A CEO trying to save face is understandable, but those are not facts that he described.
The facts that I know are exactly what silver billet described here and have happened to me at the very least 5 times. The first time it happens it is scary for sure. The next time is a surprise and a pain...
I wouldn’t worry about it man, most of us get it and thanks for bringing it up. There have been reports for years on this in another thread on here. It’s happened to my PC about 5 or 6 times. I even sent it back under warranty and they sent it back saying no faults found. It was fine for awhile...
Sounds like it’s hit or miss. I had to call my credit card company to reverse the charge on mine today as it’s been almost 2 months since I ordered and still haven’t received it. So I’m done, guess I’ll never find out if it worked or not and that’s ok.
Ordered 4/18
Customs released 5/26
i have no idea if it will ever get here as it’s closing in on 2 months now. I’m about to call my credit card to reverse the charge and I’ll look for an alternative to this thing.
Just a heads up. I ordered mine over a month ago and still haven’t received it yet. I guess flights still aren’t coming in so it was sent on a ship and no update since the 14th.
Just to clarify you have the 3.5” ready lift kit and took out the preload spacer and added the bilsteins on the 4th setting? You say you are satisfied with the ride, but how did it change? Just curious as I’m considering doing the same thing. The ride isn’t terrible now, but it’s a little bouncy...
Everywhere that your body touches is leather and the sides and back are vinyl. This is the same for 95+% of any car maker and also furniture. You do not have to use specific cleaner or conditioner for leather vs vinyl. Keeping it clean is key to maintaining it.
I have a PC07 that I’ve had for about 8 months and I have to send it back. It will work fine for awhile and then throw a check engine light and put my truck in limp mode. On 2 occasions it has made the truck accelerate on its own, not fast or anything, but still concerning.
An upholstery shop putting anything in writing means exactly what? Your shop is wrong, plain and simple, but go ahead and spend the money. Then make sure they give you the seat cover back after they have finished to inspect it and realize that you just stripped a perfectly good seat cover. The...
If you had the experience that you say you do than you would know that it is in fact real leather. I’ve owned a leather repair business for 20+ years and I understand that you are frustrated, but that still doesn’t mean that you are right. I’ve explained it multiple times on here, but people...
Well you can’t really say Ram doesn’t care as they have no way of knowing if it came like that or if it was something you did. If you would have taken it back sooner you could have had a case. It is a little bit of a challenging repair because of the perforation, but if their guy is any good he...
I agree. The most important thing is to keep it clean. When leather gets dirty and dirt gets into the cracks or natural creases of the leather the dirt acts like sand paper further degrading the leather. A simple wipe down with warm water and maybe a mild cleaner every other week will prolong...
I do not need to have the cover off to tell what material the seat, sofa, shoes, purse, etc... is made of. I have a Laramie in my driveway and almost bought a Limited. Ive seen a few posters on here think that just because a leather is coated that it is not “real” or “natural” leather and I can...
Please stop with this as it is as far from the truth as can be. I have owned a leather repair business for the last 20+ years and I’m sorry, but you just do not know what you are talking about.
