Used Hyperdip on hood emblems and rear emblem. Debagded RAM logos and BH/4x4 in rear.
Liked hyper dip over Plasti dip, much smoother and I like the touch of gloss as it goes with the gloss wheels better then flat black IMO.
Watched every exhaust clip known to man on YouTube and want some real world thoughts/experience.
First I will say I am looking for a muffler ONLY, not the direct bolt ons or anything cat back(b2 fab/flowfx etc). I have a great shop that will do the install. I will be keeping resonators as well...
2nd for LEDs, didn’t look at trucks without them when I was shopping. For me also sport package(body color bumpers), I’m not a fan of the chrome but that’s purely personal preference.
Not sure your budget but earlier this year I was in same spot, also considered even going new if price was close...
I have a 2019 and live in the Midwest, so lots of snow and road salt. I use an under carriage pressure washer attachment from time to time to spray underneath the truck. Last week I changed side steps and when I got under the truck was amazed how clean and rust free it still was. All the barcode...
As everyone has said prep is key. Sand/scuff all parts you are lining until there is no shine. If you get to bare metal on any spots use self etching primer in that area and adhesion promoter is a good idea too.
Take a look at U-Pol Raptor Liner. They have a roll on but their spray in kit will...
Love to detail as a side gig so I’m In. Here’s my run down but I do like to try new things.....often haha
Rupes DA polisher
Buff n shine pads
Turtle wax ice snow foam soap
Amazon foam cannon(replaced orifice for increased foam)
Chemical guys iron remover
Nanoskin non acid wheel and tire cleaner...
My 2019 does this as well. Not a deal breaker but very annoying when backing out and my wife said, “this is what a 50k+ truck sounds like?” She’s not wrong, I don’t like it either.
I had told my dealer about the moan when I got my replacement floor mat but we couldn’t recreate it together on a...

I wanted a bit more drop as my wife is short (and pregnant) and we have a kiddo under 10 as well. Much easier for them to climb in.
Pretty...
It’s a 2019 but I have only owned for about a month. I actually detail vehicles as a side business so I will be doing the work myself (saves $ but not my back!)
Vehicles often come “new” with swirl marks and minor marring if the dealer washed it or ran through anything but touch less it already...

Got the clazzio covers on today. About 3 hr install.
Still pretty cold here, going to wait for the weekend to take my steamer to any wrinkles for a final fit.
Installing clazzio leather seat covers today and tomorrow. Prepared for the sore fingers! Will update with pics once done.
20% tint for front windows will be installed on Saturday morning.
Making some progress as the weather warms up.
Upgraded interior lights with LED and finally got the husky mud guards on. The slush this thing throws down the side of the truck without the guards was crazy. My white truck looked light brown.
Also gave it a pressure wash even thought it was below 32 degrees I just had too haha.
Recently new to me. 2019 bighorn north edition. This was the day I bought it. Already started my tinkering. Will get new pic once it’s not - degrees here!
Mods:
TYGER T1 tonneau cover - done
Husky mud flaps - done
Raptor style side steps - on order
Clazzio black leather interior - on order...
I have the TYGER T1 soft roll up cover. It is my second one, as I had one on my Chevy for 3 years. For the money they are excellent quality, easy install, and very tight fitting. I have zero complaints. Currently $189 on amazon with prime delivery.
It has 14 months and or 17k miles left on factory bumper to bumper(I only drive maybe 9k annually) With the money I am saving may look into extended bumper to bumper warranty but I hear it’s cheaper to get aftermarket. Anyone have experience w that?
