Yes big change for a little price, and it’s all stainless. For what it’s worth I had it installed at best exhaust shop in town, it was done in under 45 minutes. All he had to do was add 7in of stainless pipe and welded hanger and done. Cost me $100 for install. So $150 total was worth every...
Did flowmaster flowfx muffler only today. It is definitely on the moderate side. Gives you some rumble when you want it to but also pretty tame if you don’t mash it which is just what I wanted.
I purchased muffler on my own and had best shop in town install, everything total cost me $160 and I...
No drone, cruised at 55 for about 10 minutes. I can hear when it kicks to mds but honestly the stock made a louder sound when it kicked to mds believe it or not. Definitely louder when sitting at a light and upon take off but once up to speed it is quiet. Only got on it a couple of times and it...
Flowmaster flowfx went on today. Wanted something mellow as to not upset the wife. Getting old so any louder would be too much but it’s nice to hear the hemi come alive when you want it too.
Now let’s see if she notices on her next ride 😬🙏🏼
I plan on doing the raptor liner spray in kit in 2 weeks once weather is better. Have done it on two previous trucks and been very pleased with the result.
Prep work is key and kinda sucks but I can get job done start to finish in a day. About an 8 beer job I’d say. Can’t beat it for $150.
Hooked up the boat on the Ram for first time. Biggest win was the old 2 stroke mercury firing up no problem after a cold winter. Trailer hook up cam was cool feature as well.
Yeah even with muffler cost included I’m actually around $185. Still a savings of over $100 from the “direct replacement” and I don’t have to do the work.
Here’s to hoping the wife doesn’t hate it, haha because once it’s in it’s in. Part of the reason I got the flowfx, tame when you want it to...
I have the Flowmaster flowfx muffler only, not direct bolt on I am looking to get installed. Instal would need a 7 in piece of pipe added to make up the size difference from stock muffler. So just 2 cuts and 4 welds basically. I’ve been quoted as high as $200, lowest is $125 just want to see...
275/60/20 does not need a leveling kit to fit without rub (unless you have a crazy offset) not sure if level or lift was a requirement you had to have, if not they will fine. I have 20x9 +10mm offset no rub.
Nice! I actually ended up ordering it last night. Exactly what I’m looking for, just a bit louder then stock but not very noticeable when you don’t want it to be (so wife doesn’t give me 3rd degree 😂). Did you have a shop install, what did they charge you if you don’t mind me asking?
I noticed...
1. Tonneau cover
2. Ceramic tint
3. Clazzio leather interior
4. Husky mud flaps
4b. All weather floor mats
5. Paint correction and graphene coating
Have exhaust on order and will some day get the Hellwig sway bar so they may find their way onto the list.
