Just an update. The suspension has settled, and I'm nose-high now about an inch in the front, compared to the rear wheel well.
I thought the front would've come down a bit after the install, but it never did. When first installed, I was practically level, with just a tiny rake (perfect). The...
Old thread, I know, but it might help someone. Anyway, I hook my tow chains to the horizontal holes in the OEM hitch. I used to hook them into the vertical holes and I'd end up fighting to remove them.
I basically point the hooks toward the centerline of the truck and hook them in. To take...
I have a "lower end" Laramie that didn't get the reclining seats. My kids are in the age ranges where they are using booster seats instead of infant seats, and when they sleep in the back, I really wish the rear seats reclined. So, only one member did this mod?
I did the "EGR" (not AVS) in-channel deflectors. I recommend using "smoke" instead of "black." I initially installed the black ones and lost a huge area of vision. The A pillar plus the deflector blocked almost 8 inches of perspective view for me.
Has super cool functionality, but I've seen my Sister-in-law stress about finding a charging station for her Tesla while we've had the families out on spontaneous outings. Plus, I'll never forget driving through a wildfire evacuation neighborhood and seeing all the EVs parked in the driveways...
I don't think it'll work. My eTorque sits for up to two weeks when I drive my work car. I've had to jump my Laramie three times in the last six months, each time after sitting for almost two weeks. I've tried two of those little mini computerized jump chargers. two different full-sized jump...
Just picked it up (Excuse the blue on the tires). I'm definitely rubbing at full lock. I'm definitely feeling more of the road now, doesn't feel like a cushy Caddy anymore. The ride feels like a truck, BUT I can't stop looking at it! The -12 gives just the right amount of poke. The truck...
I have the Ready Lift UCAs, not the Rough Country UCAs. The RL's are for 2" lifts and RC's are rated for 3 to 3.5" lifts.
It is a concern of mine, which is why I posted. I'm sitting in the middle of the two.
As the title says, I've got the ORP, and I'm planning on installing Ready Lift UCAs, with Bilsteins set to Clip#4. I'm not going all the way up to #5 since I have the 6'4" bed with a Retrax Pro rolling cover with Yakima racks... and I usually keep gear in the bed, so I want to keep some rake...
I'd never do that. My sister-in-law drives an older Tesla, and I know how much pre-planning she has to do to make sure she has enough range/juice to take the kids to all their activities.
I was in a full parking lot with a couple empty "hybrid/EV only" parking spaces. I think I'd like a couple decals (maybe magnetic), just to have something that says eTorque. Hmmmm
It just occurred me... since the spare doesn't match the size of the 4 working tires, couldn't you just change out the flat and then air down the other 3 tires to match the height of the spare? This would be a temporary, low speed workaround, obviously.
I just ordered one as well. It's for piece of mind.
Do I need it? Hopefully not, but there's a general lack of civility and respect for personal property these days that a gas guzzling road monster seems to trigger in unstable people.
