I'll see if I can get pics from top for a better perspective. I'll look from bottom. Truck has the flap in between the bed and cab which is supposed to cut back on noise. Some trucks have it some don't. My dealership has installed a few on trucks that were missing it.
I was working on ram boxes and noticed the bed looks different on each side at front. One side seems to be separated more than other. Ideas??
One side seems level and not seperated
The other side is not level and seems to be pulling apart or out of fitting.
Talked with service manager at dealership and showed him the Rambox a while back. He ordered the shell (is what I call it--- The top piece and frame). He re-used the painted section.
First picture is what it looked like before.
He assisted mechanic in installing the frame and took my existing...
Just went back and read it. Jan 2019. I'm headed to the dealership this morning to have them try and find the dreaded rattle, check on the battery as I have had to have it jumped a few times and then twice today, Tailgate ajar does not work, check engine light. And then I saw this, I was like Oh...
Thanks for updating. I have been traveling in W Texas and pull in at a gas stating and walk around back and my tail gate is down. Like...… Wow, kind of freaked me out since I carry Ice chest, floor jack and other items in the bed of the truck while out there..
I just experienced the dead battery feature on our trucks. W Texas on lease road and nothing. Just so happens one of the pumpers was out checking tank batteries and gave me a jump. Meter after getting a jump was on 13.4. Over the next few days the meter got up to 14.7 at one time, but mostly...
You should see the drivers out and about in Midland and Odessa TX. Like the ole song "You ain't seen nothing yet", take a ride out there... Actually the scariest part of the work day.
I have used this on 2 different trucks and have had good luck with them.

I utilized the seals across the top to seal the area between the tailgate/bedcover and top edge of bed. No water gets through this area. Utilized the expanding seal down the side and then utilized the Access tailgate seal that you can buy on Amazon. The tail gate does not move and you have to...
When I first got the MX 4 installed the installer added seals, but when I brought it back in to have the bed sprayed, of course they did not replace seals with new one. I may have gone a little overboard, but I basically used the same type seals they used (Home Depot/Amazon) and did it myself...
Rode by dealer again today. Service manager rode with me and he swears that it sounds like it is coming from the rear. :( , but that is strange, because when I go over a cattle guard you can hear the clunk and when the rear tires go over the cattle guard you do not hear the clunk or rattle...
Thanks. I took pictures of mine and posted. It looks like the rubber boot is coming off.
it’s under post “looking for noise in front end and found this”
I have pictures of my links on that post
