So, has anyone done a 2/2 drop to their 5th Gen? I am curious to see what that would look like. It isn't the way I would want to go, but it is better than nothing. I just can't use the Maxtrac rear 4" kit.
I have had the 272920 in my truck since about 1700 miles and i am currently on 21,000 miles and change. Not mushy on mine at all. I do have about 1/2" of rake still but that don't bother me. I don't tow or haul anything so i can't say what they will do if you put a load on them. But i have never...
So, the 272720 springs are listed for a 2wd only? Maybe that's why they get a tad lower than the 272920? I too am looking to get my truck even lower than the 272920 springs I have now, but want to make sure these would work. My truck is 4wd though.
I have had mine on for over 15K miles with no issues. I haven't changed anything but the springs. No end links or shocks or nothing. No problems at all!
If you went with their 2/4 kit a lot of people are having the bottoming out issue. I don't know how to resolve it but I would assume air bags would help, but you may have to run enough air in them so that the ride is harsh? I can't answer that for you. One of the reasons I am waiting on the...
I have just the springs on mine and it is great. Been on since my truck had 1600 miles and now at almost 16K. Not one issue with just the springs. You don't technically need any of that other stuff, but if you want it you can get it, I just don't know exactly what all you need for part numbers...
I have already lowered the rear 2", and I like it a lot better that way. I can't stand the rake at all. I don't want to add just 2" drop in the front. Then I am right back where I started.
On a side note, I did talk to Belltech again today and they had previously told me that they will have a...
I have looked all over, even contacted several of the drop kit manufacturers, and I can't get a definitive answer from them. So, what I am wanting to know is about mixing components from other manufacturers to achieve a 2/4 drop on my 2020 Bighorn 4wd. I have already lowered the rear 2" to level...
So, I reached out to Belltech once again to check on the status of the 5th Gen lowering kit. I did get a very brief email response back from them, but it wasn't good. They told me that they would be working to release a kit sometime next year, meaning 2022. So, to all those besides me who wanted...
I know these will fit, but I have a question about look. My truck is lowered in the rear to get rid of the rake, not leveled in the front like most people do. I am wanting to simply add a more aggressive A/T tire to what I have now. I don't want to raise it, or swap the wheels. Well, at least I...
According to Revel, the rods change the voltage to read the vehicle is lowered, thus keeping air in the bags. So it shouldn't change the ride comfortability if I am reading it right.
So I talked to Revel and they said with their lowering links they can get the truck to stay in entry/exit mode? Can anyone confirm this? Does anyone have this done to theirs? If so, I would be curious to see it and hear how well you like their kit.
