Well, that's because you ordered the super super short bed secret option. If you would have gone with the standard 5' 7" bed, you would have been fine.
It's certainly subjective. I have always thought the other way around; the short bed looks more proportional to the rest of the truck than the long bed. That short bed sure is worthless for hauling anything though lol.
I personally can't stand Tundras. The old one was a joke, and the new one...
The loss of traction is a thing, even with dry pavement. Pickup beds have literally no weight in them, and even under normal circumstances the wheels are rotating faster than the truck is moving on take off. I've seen open diff trucks come in on trade with 10k miles, where the right tire is bald...
Thank you. I haven't posted a ton just cause you never know if anyone even cares about this stuff. Not a lot of people who do full audio installs in ram trucks, even on the audio forums.
Attention to detail has been a balancing act. It rarely gets super hot in MT and my timing is impeccable...
Plus, it adds an easy 10hp.😎
Took me longer to get switch out of packaging, then to actually install it.
For those installing; it's waaay easier to pull lower panel and pop switch out from behind, then to remove panel switch button is mounted in. That panel is a prick to sneak by instrument...
Yes, thank you, I meant locker where I wrote lsd. Fixed.
Chevy has always had the best locker imo. It is a true mechanical locker that automatically locks when wheel speed differentiates by 120rpm. It then automatically unlocks when traction is restored.
Ram attempts to slow the spinning...
That's pretty common. We have tons of similar issues with our ram/jeep vehicles when the battery discharges too far. I've seen some wacky things happen when jumping these cars. I'd pull both terminals and connect positive/negative cables together for about 30 minutes. This will completely...
Silverholder. Weekend garage offers a complete kit that also includes strips for the center console. His kit also allows you to operate footwell lights independently from door lights. I have ambient lighting so I wasn't as concerned about that and this kit has a lot less rats nest of wiring.
ORG is a great value ad if you have a need for it. I really despise the locker, it's really designed for off road scenarios (hence the off road group lol) and isn't great for normal driving. It's not like it doesn't work, it's just not as optimal as an LSD IMO.
From my understanding, air...
It's really tough to say. I've recently had all my doors apart for deadening, and there really aren't any smoking guns behind that panel. I had issues where the door beam wasn't even attached to the outer door skin, which was causing some vibrations, but nothing really "flapping". A lot of...
Depends on model.
Ram 1500 Alpine has 6x9 in door, with tweeters in dash corners and center of dash. Most people unhook center to improve imaging.
Ram 1500 HK has 6x9 in door, tweeter in upper door panel, and mids in dash (corners and center).
There is no 1500 that I am aware of that has...
