REW. Been using that program in my HT for years. It's what most people use when doing any sort of EQ work.
Mic is UMIK-1. I've used the UMM-6 calibrated from CSL, with good results as well. Pretty much any USB mic with a calibration file will work.
REW is a steep learning curve, but well...
Tune pretty much dialed in. I may add a front sub to the mix down the road as Rams have a nasty null in the crossover area right around the midbass. This is due to width of cab in relation to drivers seat. Not much you can do about it. Had to raise xover to 90 to get good sub to midbass phase...
It's really interesting to hear about the bottoming out issues with the Maxtrac. I'd say my MT fronts feel considerably stiffer than the OE. There is no way I could bottom or rub on the fender well. I went 1.5" drop on the front also. I have the ridetech kit, but am not going to bother...
1) I think most things would be a downgrade from the OE limited headlights. You don't see many aftermarket options for Limiteds for this reason alone
2) I would be very wary of Form lighting. I have Form lights and have a warranty issue with one of them. They don't bother holding stock back for...
Agreed. The biggest difference I noticed in the Hurricane was the midrange. The Hemi isn't a total dog, but requires it to be wound up pretty good before it starts making power. The 3.92's really help in this dept. The dyno chart confirms this, regardless of overall output. FI will put more...
It's no doubt stronger, but not night and day. The HO on the other hand. Yes please.
Agreed, especially considering it's transferred through the same drivetrain. Gear ratios will also throw off numbers as well. I dynod my supercharged mustang a few different times over the years with tire/gear...
Remote start? :D
I'm not sure how often you encounter toe issues? Unless you are lifting lowering/damaged a part, it really shouldn't move. I can't remember the last time I had to mess with toe during a normal alignment.
Well the tires and wheels alone will skew the numbers on the Hemi. Also, were these done back to back. Temp and humidity differences will mess with numbers as well.
No doubt the Hurricane will be a beast of a motor, especially when tuned; but stock for stock those numbers look a little...
Yes, if you are currently leasing a Stellantis product. Wish they'd just blanket "owning" one in general, like the Ford rebate. They need it to unbury all the Chrysler buyers in the past couple years. :D
I always love conquest programs that are a slap in the face to those who have been supporting the brand. You've already paid us money and are a captive audience? Pound sand.
Tune is mostly done. I am going to change the mid mounting in the dash, as I am getting some deviations in the measurements due to the backwave. Not sure you could actually hear it, but I want it bang on. Pretty freaking smooth curve with the exception of the 200hz mode which is inherent in door...
Pretty sure a hurricane/tornado would destroy more than just the bump stop lol.
Look at how little rust is down there. 1 season in MT and our undercarriage looks 10x's worse. Simply dry rot. Not the end of the world. Order a new set and be done with it.
