1. Once opon a time I bought Bridgestones over Michelin based on performance v. value. I cant say that Ive been that impressed with Bridgestone since they were acquired by Firestone. Last 5 sets of tires Ive purchased have all been Michelins with zero regrets.
2. The 2019 F150 that i almost...
Took a peak at the spare tire tonight. Bridgestones on the truck...Goodyear as a spare. Never seen that before. Could be worse they could all be Firestones...

Legal DOT regs, the 2500 has the same suspension as the SRW 3500 sans the coil springs, but the AAM rear axle is the same except for the coil interface. So thats why i subsceibe to the GAWR for the 2500s. The 2500s are artificially capped at a GVWR of 10k not by capability but by regulations...
That is the WD hitch that we used on the Jayco. We towed about 8500 miles over the span of almost 2 years with it. We are *thinking* about getting another TT with this 1500 as a TW. Looking at something 32'-37' with a GVWR of 9500 max. Yep, larger than what we towed with the 2500. I will use an...

I've had that happen a couple of times exiting the car wash when in neutral, but the pbrake engages before selecting Drive in those cases.
Parking bark engaged momentarily during acceleration (5-10mph) away from a traffic light yesterday. Yellow parking brake warning light flashed on, then reset after i restarted truck. Anyone else run into this issue?
You can order and/or find a 1500 with the larger towing mirrors. Ram made a decision to go with (2012?) a rear coil suspension setup that provides a better ride than leaf springs. Its a noticeably better ride when unloaded than a leaf spring setup. The trade is a lower payload capacity. They...
Sorry to hear about the trailer tire issue. The one thing that Ive been impressed with is the new improved shift logic on the 8HP75 transmission. Aggressive downshifts in tow/haul mode are to help the truck (you) slow the trailer using engine compression vs. riding the brakes.
One thing that I...
You didnt mention what brand of WD hitch you are using or tire pressures your running. What type of trailer? Travel, enclosed or open? If you are towing heavy (for a 1/2 ton 8500# is heavy) I would definitely recommend LT tires.
Our "light" (6500# max) setup with a 2500. I cant imagine driving...
The other concern is, with TT/TH the longer the trailer the more susceptible to side loading from passing vehicles. Especially semis on the highway...whiteknuckle time. Push/pull...Invest in a good WD hitch with antisway functionality included. But a larger, heavier truck with a longer wheelbase...
