How’s your 2019 Ram running? Take our poll!

Thoughts for this thread: It would make sense to break off the 2020 Ram into a separate poll possibly with the dating/sort that I speak of above Also be interesting to know after the first polling if owners are now satisfied after recall/service bulletins

    Winter driving

Keep in mind loading the bags of weight closer to the cab might make them less likely to behead you in an impact :geek:

Coin holder - useful or stupid?

Ordered by size probably so that coins are grabbable instead of being stuck between two larger diameter coins. For me...only coins that matter to use are quarters and I keep a roll of them in my car (a cylindrical M&Ms container) for emergencies or little purchases when I forget my wallet.

    Center console or bench seat

Personally I looked at a Tradesman with the bench and Big Horn with center console...the console on the Trades is MUCH smaller (and less useful) than the upgrade center console. I'll have to settle for the vertical hand massage...

    Dont waste your money

The thread starter is having a bit of a tantrum especially with zero other posts BUT saying "zero issues" from the "vast majority" isn't close to accurate. If you go by the survey thread on here it's been stuck on 49% with no problems for about 6 months and that's up to over 1.1k responses.

Sales Tricks while you're sitting at the desk...

You might be right...found one who stacked in late May and possibly one in June (couldn't tell if it was select inventory)...thx.

Sales Tricks while you're sitting at the desk...

Yeah...I'm starting to second guess myself..it's the percentage off goal I had but it's more truck than I'd set for myself (stuck between a Tradesman and Big Horn on features)...you might be right.

Sales Tricks while you're sitting at the desk...

UPDATE! TL;DR> Lowered listing -$3k online (25% off in total)...denied USAA/Conquest rebates...GM got huffy...I walked....roadside price reduction...drove off The game continues...I'll keep it "short story long": Left dealer a few days ago after the number shenanigans above but knowing...

Sales Tricks while you're sitting at the desk...

I keep hearing some version of this from quite a few even though my experience with the Internet Manager was bordering on comical. Here's some quotes from him that you'll enjoy before/after he stood me up for an appointment: "All I can ask...I am growing concerned that I have not herd back...

Sales Tricks while you're sitting at the desk...

They love to create this environment of obligation, pressure, and manipulation that I'm sure many are swayed by....I often wonder how it's not considered coercion.

Sales Tricks while you're sitting at the desk...

Similar experience when I bought my '95 GMC Sierra brand new (stripped with vinyl floors, twill seats, and rollups). I did all the research with the invoice books and a friend who was an auto broker filled me in on all the fees so I had the price down to the nuts (I added $700 profit for...

Sales Tricks while you're sitting at the desk...

I thought it would be interesting to share the sales tricks employed once you're sitting at the desk ready to make a deal. NOT the imaginary loss leaders advertised to get you on the lot, false email deals, or the salesman shuffle but once you've done the test drive, parking lot banter, and now...

    Tired of tires...

I just ran into this great comparison of mud vs AT tires on a jeep crawl...not exactly scientific but in the real world....good luck with that: LINK

Knowing what to look for was exactly my intent as I too am purchasing a truck. The usefulness of it continues after purchase because you already have in mind what to keep an eye out for since some issues take time to develop and the basic fixes tried by users is listed. Side note that I...

The "point" is having a post that summarizes common issues in one place and listing some of the fixes tried by forum members. All without you having to read the hundreds of pages to find the posts within them that have the attempted fixes. No need for the right keyword, private messages...
