Posted three thumbnail files from past two days. Not many miles in the first five months (mostly cold weather) and a little road miles make a big difference. From 11.8 to over 15 MPG with just 120 miles on rural highway (50 MPH average with speed varying 30 to 60) and a 60 mile trip home after...
Another thing to look at is hours of engine run and miles. With 1124 miles and 60 hours of engine run time I'm "averaging" just over 18.3 miles per operating hour with 10.5 MPG. All winter driving, short half mile driving with the exception of 2 trips of 120 miles (where I averaged over 18)...
I also run 89 octane, looks like a warming trend is coming later this week, I can count the days above freezing on one hand since taking delivery in NW Michigan late November. No regrets on my RAM conversion!
I'm at 990 miles and an overall 12.2, but attribute that to several factors:. First, 80% of my driving is City under 40 MPH (80% at or under 25) in cold winter weather in 4auto. Two trips I've taken were secondary roads in 4auto with multiple community slow downs, but averaged over 18 MPG for...
Mine stays in Normal unless I toggel down. No chance to test going to Aero today with weather and traffic. I don't have the settings indicated in the manual - will inquire at recall fix appointment as it is not critical or functional limiting.
Mine never went to Normal mode from EE, just Aero. Today toggled to Normal from EE at start up, then toggled back to EE at my destination (only a few blocks, less than 30 MPH). Returning home it went to the last toggled setting, Normal around 15 MPH. Prior to that (770 miles) it had never...
It would be interesting to have a wiring diagram to trace it in relationship to the seat heat. Plenty of cautions about medical conditions that make people hyper sensitive to the heat.
Page 577 of the PDF manual indicates a setting to have Auto Entry/Exit on/off when placed in park from the Suspension menu - don't see that option on mine. There is an option to have automatic Aero on/off. It would be convenient to have it automatically return to Entry/Exit when shifting to...
Easy replacement of latch on storage bins to sturdy metal locking (key) latch. Four point screws out, cross point in. $120.00 with tax, next day delivery. About 2 minutes on each side. Also attached photo of Weather tech rear mat, great fit.
Same with mine, turned indicator on but have never noticed transition, run 89 octane and have just turned 700 miles. Previous 2016 Silverado LT would indicate 4 cylinder but never noticed change. Love the quiet RAM over the Chevy, no comparison in ride comfort!
turned in my Silverado LT Jan 30th (leased) but took delivery of my RAM November 30th because of incentives. Was looking at Silverado LTZ and GMC, but one ride in the RAM sold me - great ride and finish. Great technology and flawless so far. I've been GM and Ford since my last Chrysler...
went with the no-drill Weathertechs - don't get as much build-up snow on steps and keeps the sides cleaner. Simple install, mats fit perfect to keep the carpets clean too.
