LOL, as much as I love my Ducks, I’m really hoping for a “rest of season tank” in order to get a low draft pick.
I’ll probably get to the doors tomorrow, but first I’ll need to pick up some fishing line...I went through all the dental floss today. In fact, my wife just asked me if I knew where...
Yeah, I think the tape application for leveling is the right way to go. Glad to hear spacing isn’t a problem (I already have the letters, just hadn’t opened the package yet).
Slow peel on the residual adhesive is the ticket....thanks for the tip!!!

Just finished blacking out the last part of the *** end. Pulled the chrome “Laramie” and replaced with matte black.

I used blue painters tape to outline the area, dental floss and heat from the sun (which has been a rarity in SoCal lately). Used my fingers and Goof-off...
I have a nice set of resin interior panel removal tools that I used in conjunction with a razor blade. I used the razor blade to lightly pry up a corner of each letter, then used a flat thin interior tool to gently lift each letter out, using a slight rocking motion. Once one tab is liberated...
The clunk seems to have been corrected by re-torquing a series of bolts associated with various front end components to factory specs. I have not heard or felt the clunk since the work was performed. I wish I had more information for you. Also, TSB #23-047-18 was not implemented in my situation.
Very interested in this, as mine is also leaking on the drivers side. Would you mind sharing how they determined where the leak was? My service manager said they did several water tests, but could not get it to leak. I think mine is leaking in a similar way as yours, and knowing how your service...
Ah, Those pesky Kings....it’s a great rivalry, isn’t it. SoCal hockey is kinda sucking this season though.
By the way, great looking truck you have there!!

Just finished up changing out the grill letters and the Rams head on the tailgate. Took about 45 minutes from start to finish. RAM letters are supper easy, (as another member said, 5 minutes tops). The tailgate was a bit more difficult with removing all the left over adhesive.
I’ll get around...
Thanks for the reply, but no pano sunroof. This one seems pretty difficult to pinpoint, but I’m thinking it may be coming from a seam weld like another member had. Because I live in SoCal and we really don’t get too much rain, it’s only happens twice that I know of. I’m going to relay some...
Well finally get her back from the dealer today. Two days of water testing to (not) find the water leak I have, which is getting the front drivers side carpet wet every time it rains. Service manager said he would do some research to see if FCA has any service data that may help him pinpoint the...
I took advantage of a 68 degree SoCal day and washed all the road grime off her. Then I installed a set of Westin HDX Xtreme side steps. Install was pretty straight forward, with the longest part being removing the paint from the factory studs (used a 8mm x 1.25 die/thread chaser)
Looks pretty...
Well I’m sorry to report, but now at 8900 miles, my truck has developed the dreaded front end clunk, as well as a water leak around the drivers kick panel. Found wet carpet this morning after a hard rain last night in SoCal.....super bummed to say the least. I’ll be dropping it off at the dealer...
