I agree with what you stated, but with a small caveat. If I'm going on the highway they get put in a crate in the back seat that's strapped to the cargo tiedowns. But for this post I'm talking more for in town driving, where the fastest speed I can drive is 25mph, and the worst crash I've seen...
My truck died 2 more times in the past couple days. One on Sunday at about 35 in town, and again just now. On Sunday I was getting married so I was running all over town finishing all the setups and generic last minute wedding stuff, so I didn't have time to call the dealer. Luckily it started...
I agree with you though, I wish we had more cupholders with the bench seats. I also wish they were bigger and had inserts so we could take then out and wash them.
I'm looking to buy some kind of a cab separating wall. Purpose of it is when I have my 2 huskies with me I wanna be able to keep them in the back, so I can lay a blanket or so across the seats to prevent dirt and damage, and then it's also safer for them if they can't get into the front of the cab.
Just making this for clarity, as I'm really confused now. I believe the 40/20/40 (like I have) are called benchseats, and the full console trucks have what are called bucketseats, so I think you have the names messed up.
I've already had the recalls done, and I asked if a ground connection was a possibility for them to look into to find the problem, but they pretty much told me it ran for them so there's nothing wrong with it.
So I have question for those more knowledgeable then myself. I'm looking at doing a motofab lift/Levi kit, appears to just be spacers. 3" in the front and 2" inches in the back. Does anyone think that would cause me problems down the road?

Thanks for the info! And I know I'm not crazy, I just joke that the dealership will start to think that I am. But if this happens again I'm going in and raising hell until they figure out what it is for sure. It's a major safety issue, and the generic response of 'it didn't throw any codes...
Yes, Jamestown more specifically. RM Stoudts is the dealership it was towed to. They performed well on it, got back to me quickly, and gave me a loaner, so no complaints there, like I said I just feel like they're gonna think I'm crazy because I bring it in for issues that they can never repeat.
Yeah, the tow truck driver attempted to start the vehicle and even put that in the report that he wrote up to give to the dealership. So there's a paper trail showing that the truck actually died. And when it first shut off my first thought was "that's weird, my cruise control just shut off"...
Well, the dealership called me back, which was a bit of a surprise. They said one of their techs went out to look at it and it started right up, no codes that they could pull or anything out of the ordinary. I'm pretty sure they're gonna think I'm crazy after a while, since this is the 3rd time...
