o_O ... so based on the Laramie's default $3k incentive the dealer came down ~22% from MSRP ... or does this include down payment/trade-in?!?! What conditional incentives did you get? If this is straight dealer dealing I need to know where the dealer's located so I can book a flight today...
I'm betting it's a temp nationwide thing. I walked thru some build options with a dealer Sunday and he pulled up some type of "hot sheet" that listed various configurations that weren't available as of mid September. One of them was no non-dealer stock orders for air suspension on Bighorns and...
HA! I stayed up for the August to September changes (I think it was 9/4?) and recall things not being posted/updated at least until the business day started ... or maybe even the following day.
Sounds like a great deal! Was the deal the $15k off with no questions asked or were there options for other conditional incentives (if you had qualified)?
BTW ... I had configured this with air suspension as well, so I'm not sure how this interferes with the suspension in this package. I didn't get any push back after adding it.
Wow ... they're really changing things up. You can no longer configure a 4x2 Bighorn with a Hemi.
@TXlaramie, just to confirm ... you don't have any options that require these switches? I just assumed all Laramies had base options that required one or two of these.
Please keep us posted on your progress! I'm looking at Bighorns and this is something I'm interested in doing since the 12.1 isn't available. Is there anything that needs to be addressed with the paddle switches when doing this?
Where did you pick up the 12.1 unit ... dealer or online?
Thanks @devildodge and @T_Strey5! I'm all about MPG, but I honestly don't think I can settle for the side pipe. Guess I'll plan on swapping the bumper and adding dual pipes ... or get a Hemi.
Reviving the V6 single exhaust topic ... any chance anything below a Laramie gets side exhaust and Laramie on up get the dual pipes? Fingers crossed for the latter ...
