MD would have billed you for all registration fees etc so don't do anything else until you speak with them. I made the mistake on my previous vehicle where I went to DMV and registered it and then realized I had already paid the dealer for all the fees, they just hadn't registered it yet because...
Just as a follow up on this thread, I ended up purchasing 2 different shades on Amazon to test. The ToughPro shade I linked was far and above the other one I ordered, link below. It fits the 2022 windshield perfectly (so I assume it'd be an identical fit for any 5th Gen), around the big 10"...
I like to have the nav directions in my heads up display and on the cluster. On the longer trips (we just drove 1000 miles around rural Utah last weekend) I only used onboard nav once we got out on the highway from Vegas... it's nice to have the directions on the HUD for what turn offs to take...
Yeh basically, or also stuff outside big cities. The on board nav doesnt seem to do well in cities with lots of traffic, road changes etc however if I'm driving in rural areas or outside big cities, it does well. I will usually double check the route the on board nav gives me vs Google or Waze...
I honestly only use the on-board nav when on longer roadtrips, or going places that are relatively easy to get to. When it comes more time sensitive routes or hard to find places, I always use Waze or Google Maps.
I've spent too long searching these forums, as well as reddit and other Ram forums without a definitive answer. I came close to pulling the trigger on a Covercraft UVS100 which comes up quite alot, before I found out that the fitment sucks ... there are spots on each side of the windshield, and...
The only way I see that happening is if they bring in new management who want to take advantage of all the new loyalty they have built, and screw everyone over for more dollars. But the great thing is, as fast as a good word travels around the internet these days, a bad word will travel even faster.
Too be fair, now that I think of it, MD have probably gone from selling vehicles to LA, TX, MS and AL residents to now selling to us all, all over the US as their name has gone out as one of the best value dealers in the county. As we've found out in this thread, every state has very different...
I didn't have any issues per se, but I did notice Sheila was the hardest to deal with at MD. She didn't seem to know what was going on and her emails were very confusing. Ultimately for Nevada, there's no easy way for a 3rd party to register a new vehicle so she ended up cutting me a check in...
You can either use the voice command (press the voice control button on steering wheel, they say "drive to *destination*). Seems to work pretty well, you just have to say the whole address including town. The other option is to find the destination on Google Maps on your phone, then share the...
Have had these on my last 2 trucks and they are great. Cheap, they hold up, they don't move (no chance of them coming off while driving), easy to remove with the little tool as mentioned above and no worrying about losing paint like when you have colored lug nuts.
Darrell's is a great stop for food. They have great sandwiches, but the place is huge and set up more like a bar. Was packed at lunch when I passed through.
