I had jailbreak. Read the forums on the product. Check other sites not just Ram. You'll find tons of opinions. They'll ship FedEx and will arrive in like 5 days. It did what it claimed. It was tricky as hell to install. If your computer smart, you'll be able to figure it out. You'll get software...
Sometime back in 2014 I used jailbreak on my Ram There is a couple of devices that are used to adapt video to the infotainment system.
One is a {I think} Swedish software firm with applical hardware to add cameras and show video. JAX Jailbreak...
That looks like the same terminal I connected my hypertech speed calabration device. It is under left side driver dash. Right behind the release handle for the electronic transmission release/or electronic Park brake release. I forget exactly the release exact purpose. Anyhow hard to reach...
Biggest pain in the *** with hypertech is evertime you need to take to dealer you have to reset to factory settings. If you don't it bricks hypertech device. That to me isn't worth the purchase if I had to buy it again.
My hypertech works fine. I installed 275 60-R20 tires. Michelin website stated 33 inch diameter. It was off by 2 mph faster. I changed to 32.75 still 2 mph off. Set to 32.50 and it's registered dead on by three different GPS speed apps. So try different settings. Recheck see attached app screen...
I average 650 per tank full. Now it may vary depending on driving style. That seems to be a pretty good MPG if it hasn't moved . When it does move it works down steady.
Well Mine don't click. A noise of something activating or engaging I hear it but not all the time. If you start/stop in sequence you hear it on first start but not on second. Which would add credence to a past forum member stated it may be the automatic park brake disengaging or engaging...
Have you actually look inside a Laramie? Because you cannot tell from pictures. I think it looks more brushed bronze. I missed it when I did the online research. When I picked mine up the salesman said What you think of the trim... It did not stand out like you would think. Like I said also...
Try setting at night listening to the radio. The Inside lights up like a stadium. Can't turn off dash lights. You'd have trouble using it in a stake out.
There other forums besides 5th Gen. You can do the research and return here for advise and further information. Some of my past search found great information and may not of been a Dodge Truck site. Example radio patches, updates. Jeep, Dodge, Ram diesel etc all have same radios. Chevy wheels...
That's why I ordered everything on a Laramie longhorn, without A. S. And no moon roof. I had to go with the mountain brown was the only substitute. After awhile the interior it's not an issue. All suspendion/power is the same. I do hate the buckles on the backs of the seats. Also the tie downs...
There was a TSB on its sensitivity. But it didn't help. Warning and the camera markings is what I use. It slammed on my breaks with change in asphalt shades. Definitely wakes you up.
Anybody know what is running/cycling under truck bed when I park it in the garage. Not evertime. Sounds similar to air suspension stabilizing. I don't have air suspension. Service department said they would have to look under truck to figure it out. So it must not be a familiar noise. Only last...
Two windshields within a week. One had a blem so safelite replaced. Dealer Recalibrated both. No charge. Safelite makes you sign a warning you know the Lane departure is out of service. Apparently safelite will have the codes to recalibrate the 2019s by now. They didn't have them when I did my...
