Yeah, have found that aftermarket cables are really intermittent with CarPlay. I had to pull out the Apple cable and put it in the truck so it would be more consistent.- Bradleys

No WiFi on Laramie Sport
I just purchased a new 2019 Laramie Sport with the 8.4” Uconnect and so far I love the truck, but I have noticed a few missing features that surprise me and I want to make sure I am not missing something, WiFi - I have been through all the Menus and it doesn’t seem to be available on this...- Bradleys

I would love to have wireless CarPlay - I jump in the car for a drive to work, I like to have CarPlay as an option without pulling my phone out of my pocket. That said, manufacturers have little incentive to provide backword compatibility. Unless it truly only requires a software update PLUS...- Bradleys

It really is annoying that we need the Gateway Bypass Module to program the ECU. That extra $50 just eliminates the value out of DIY, unless you think you are going to need to do it several times. I looked on-line expecting to see some used ones trading hands at a discounted rate - but no. I...
