    AWE 0FG exhaust

Handful of us have been posting over on the other thread but is is not a disappointing exhaust. Aggressive but does not come with all the drone that many other exhausts come with. Cold start is not quiet by all means but I'm not sure about while pulling/hauling. That typically is always a...

AWE 0FG Catback Exhaust Suite for the 5th Gen RAM, available now.

Mine has the 3.92. It's manageable and not too bad. Even saying, "not too bad" is kind of an exaggeration as it is pretty quiet at cruising speed. I do think when MDS kicks in it can be a little boomy in the interior. That said, I haven't tried any remedies yet (like a pool noodle between...

AWE 0FG Catback Exhaust Suite for the 5th Gen RAM, available now.

Turn 14 Distribution has a couple in the TX and a couple in their NV warehouses (chrome tips but no stock of black tips). If you want it sooner, may reach out to them to see if they will sell it to you directly or advise you of a dealer that can get it for you.

AWE 0FG Catback Exhaust Suite for the 5th Gen RAM, available now.

So far I'm pretty happy with it. The things that I've discussed have been pretty minor in all honestly, this is to be expected out of all exhaust systems. I do think it is a rather pricey exhaust but it is nice. In my experience, AWE stuff is typically nice but that is coming from the VW/Audi...

AWE 0FG Catback Exhaust Suite for the 5th Gen RAM, available now.

I'm actually quite pleased with my AWE but I have a little more update regarding the AWE after having it for a few weeks. I can clearly hear when my MDS kicks in. It's a really deep rumble that is surprisingly loud and resonates throughout the cab more than I would like. The MDS is actually...

AWE 0FG Catback Exhaust Suite for the 5th Gen RAM, available now.

I haven't listened to any clips of the Borla Touring but from the description and if you feel the Touring is too loud... I'm not sure AWE would be your huckleberry. I think the AWE is well controlled but it also is not quiet by all means.

AWE 0FG Catback Exhaust Suite for the 5th Gen RAM, available now.

The AWE system is now on. It has more of an upper tone and not as deep as say a Super 10 (besides during acceleration). Laid back at idle but really opens up and sounds throaty on acceleration. The acceleration tone/sound is great and I can see why AWE gets kudos for it. During cold start...

    Muffler recommendation

The only catch with that Crate ATAK muffler is that is is rather expensive for just a muffler (in my opinion). From what it sounds like, it is not exactly the same sound as the ATAK catback but sounds good. Personal tastes... I prefer the rear resonators off but mine also as the mid pipe...

    Muffler recommendation

This just means that it was optimized for that application and/or possibly thrown on the application and called good. Half truths and half gimmicky but I'm sure Borla R&D those mufflers to certain applications. That said, this doesn't mean it cannot be used for your application. Hence why...

Also, here is an standalone ATAK Crate. Pricey but cannot vouch for it (no experience with it). I've read somewhere here where someone used it. I would assume it is more aggressive than the XS Pro. https://5thgenrams.com/community/threads/19-ram-limited-borla-atak-crate-muffler.19144/...

    Muffler recommendation

Check out the Borla XS Pro 3 inch center/offset. I would say it is a safe route for someone wanting a touch more aggressiveness without being annoying or too loud. If not that, Super 10 is a next step up but definitely much louder in the cab (has more LF).

    Muffler recommendation

Rule of thumb, most catbacks will not improve noticeable HP. If any, nominal differences. Usually performance gains will be turbo or manifold back. Even then, may need reprogramming etc... Going the turbo or manifold back can get you into having to deal with CEL, emission and warranty...

    Muffler recommendation

3 inch Borla XS Pro and delete the rear resonators. Step up from stock but not annoying and zero drone. Pretty quiet at cruising speeds and cold start is not too loud.

AWE 0FG Catback Exhaust Suite for the 5th Gen RAM, available now.

I have a 2021 Laramie 4x4 ORG 3.92 rear and I have the mid pipe resonator that came stock. I've ran a muffler swap Borla XS Pro and a Super 10 with the rear resonators deleted while leaving in the front resonator. Right now the Super 10 is still installed and I'm waiting for the AWE to arrive...
