No longer lurking, new Ram owner. Owned it less than an hour and I have already started modifying it 🤣🤣🤣
nothing too serious. Just an Access original roll up tonneau cover. 😁
I have one of these pop-up trashcan....it's perfect size for my needs. I have it clipped to a keyring carabiner (those kind you get when you go to auto shows etc.) and it's clipped to the passenger side head rest post. It's removable and if I don't need it, I can collapse it down. For 10 bucks...
Oilslick - you are correct. I did do the search thing and there is a similar truck that is currently "in transit" to a different dealer. I reached out to them to find out an ETA so I can be there to look at it. So far no response.
According to Ram's website, the BTS currently on dealer's sites...
I went to the dealership because they had a Tank color BTS that arrived on the transported on Friday at 11 am. The sales guy emailed me as he was leaving Friday evening that the truck had undergone their "pre-sales" check where they remove all of the plastic and whatever else is done and would...
Pictures of the bumper / guard do nothing for me. For me, I need to see what it looks like on the truck. I have seen other bumper / grille guard combos that look great off the truck, but look hideous when bolted on.
In your case, I think it looks great.
When I went to the dealership to look around and I saw a night edition Big Horn it had the following. Power pedals, power driver's seat, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, power windows, power rear window, tow package, led lighting package, safety package, technology package with HUD, 12...
So my search continues - I was advised today that Chrysler has or will be shutting down production of 2021 Big Horn trucks, at least those with the night package. As I was looking around, I noticed that on a truck that I looked at that has a 8.4 inch screen had a slightly different overhead...
I've been looking into this as well. I can't find any grille guards that allow the factory tow hooks to stay, least not yet. But I think I may have found a viable alternative.....a front mounted 2 inch receiver. Then again, the lower bar of the grille guard may interfere with a front mounted...
As others have said, it's only 4th gen that has the law enforcement trim. Closest 5th gen would be the Tradesman. With that said, here is the specs for the 2021 Ram 1500 "Special Service Vehicle".

Short answer is yes. you will be able to run it to the rear cap. I have seen this done numerous times on law enforcement vehicles. However, how much time do you want to invest in wiring??? Most professional jobs involve removing the interior pillar covers and ceiling to hide the wiring....But if...
I currently have a 2016 F-150 Supercrew with a 2.7 Ecoboost. I've had issues with the truck since I bought it and after 5 years I am looking at a new truck....specifically a Ram 1500. One of the problems early on is the body control module was shorting out in the rain because somebody at the...
Well I am still shopping. I went to two different dealers to test drive the truck they had on their respective lots only to find out that the truck I was going to be looking at was sold already. Apparently just seeing a night edition is difficult. Any opinions on the proposed build I created...
Thank you. I will be towing on occasion, but nothing like a camper. Mainly boats (a 21 bass boat), our big pontoon (25 footer), and a utility trailer with a 4 person Polaris General and smaller items (riding lawnmower...etc.)
So just just my luck, I decided to pull the preverbal trigger and put money down on the Ram. I looked at various reviews, received input from friends, and got things squared away with my finances and insurance where I felt comfortable....I had an appointment with my sales person at the dealer...
Hello everyone, about two weeks ago my current truck (I will refrain from saying which make and model) started giving me issues. A friend of mine suggested and perhaps unwittingly encouraged me to start looking at a new truck. They referred me to the dealer and salesperson they used to obtain...
