Have you had it dyno'd? Vararam claims an "up to" 30hp increase (which in advertising lingo means anywhere from .1 to 30hp). Would be interested in factual data to support their claim. How did you measure your 0-60 time? Vararam advertises only a half a second improvement on the 0-60 time...
Just saying that replacing your airbox will not make a significant difference. If it did it would likely come from the factory like that. I do like that Vararam thing...just looks awesome. Claims a 30hp increase...yeah, right.
Yep. Since every manufacturer is competing to have the most powerful and fuel efficient vehicle on the market, you would think engineers would drop in these CAIs right from the factory if they actually worked.
Why do people still believe a CAI will improve performance by itself? That's pretty much been debunked on every car forum. CAI is for looks, not performance.
That is good information. Seems like something that might deserve a sticky. I only replaced my rear doors and dash speakers. Was thinking about replacing the front doors, but if they are used for ANC then I'll just leave them alone.
Are y'all saying that the noise cancelling system uses the same speakers as the stereo? I thought the ANC had special speakers under the seats or something. This is the first thread I have seen where someone said their ANC failed after swapping out speakers. It's a very common mod and nobody...
I've been around the car forums long enough (mostly BMW for years, then F150s and now Ram 1500) to notice a trend that people who don't mess around with their vehicles with mods and simply follow manufacturer recommendations regarding maintenance tend to have less problems.
I have 1/2" spacers on my stock wheels. Didn't count how many times the lugs turned when I put the wheels back on, but so far they are holding fine. If I wanted to, what length studs should I get to compensate for the half inch lost?
Added the Reflective Concepts grill decal. I love the Night Package, but the grill tends to look like a huge, black void. I thought it needed just a little color to add some distinctive detail. Really like how it turned out. It's the color match crystal granite.

First thing in the morning seems like a particularly bad time to shut down a popular forum for updates. I'm surprised there isn't anything in the Forum News section. None of the mods know what happened?
The last two day in the morning the forum website won't load. Tried on my laptop and my iPad and it's like the site doesn't exist. Then late in the morning it comes back on. Anyone else notice this?
[MOD: The issue is known and a fix forthcoming]
For the second day in a row this forum hasn't been able to open. Tried both my laptop and my iPad. Is it just me?
275/60/20 Hercules tires, 1/2" wheel spacers for a little poke, 2" Motofab front level. Pretty happy with the result. The 33" tires are just about right, but might go with 34s when these wear out.
I'm in the same boat. Looking for a decent set of 34" street tires, however I am more price conscious when it comes to tires. I always look at the lower end when I buy tires for all my cars and haven't had any problems with them. When I had BMWs, the tire guys were always pushing Pirelli's...
Curious about rubbing...wouldn't simple wheel spacers fix that problem in most situations? I just put a Motofab 2" level on mine with 275/60/20 tires with 1/2" wheel spacers all the way around. I actually get a better turn radius now than I had completely stock with smaller tires.
