    Thinking about a 2019 Ram 1500?

I bought my '19 Limited used as well. I love it. Haven't had anything go wrong with it. I've towed our 29 ft holiday trailer with it several times and it does the job quite well. Its comfortable to ride in, and you are right, it feels like a luxury car. I don't regret my purchase one bit...

    Recommended accessories for Limited?

I know this isn't a huge thing on the list for people, but I really wanted to get a protector for the 12" screen, in addition to the usual all weather mats, tonneau cover, 3M tape etc. I went with theOCDplug.com 12" screen protector as it was a wet application, has self-healing properties...

    Impressed !

I'm with you man. Love driving my truck, and I look forward to the next time I get to drive it. Haven't had any issues and its just a real pleasure to drive. Responsive, comfortable and does everything I ask it to. Couldn't be happier with my purchase and I hope I get a lot of miles out of...

New Vendor: Matte screen protector Anti glare/fingerprint

@theOCDplug Hi there. I purchased your product and recently installed it in my truck. I just wanted to inquire about the way the product arrived at my house. It was not in a box or anything...it was just placed into a bubble envelope. I don't know if this is the way it was shipped or if it...

12" Screen Protector - the OCDplug

Just wanted to give an update about this product. It came in the mail yesterday and when I first got it, I have to say it seemed a bit Mickey Mouse. There was no box or packaging to speak of. It was just dumped into a bubble envelope. I don't know if Customs maybe did this when it was...

Rear wheelhouse liners: protective, or just for looks?

My Ford didn't have them and the amount of snow/mud/debris that got up in the frame and the box was quite extensive. A guy really had to work to ensure that all the areas were cleaned out when visiting the car wash. I have to believe that having them would make it easier to clean out and...

Does the air suspension remove need for a weight distribution hitch?

I noticed you replied that you have an Equal-i-zer hitch like I do. This hitch is 'all weather'. The anti-sway is built into 4 friction points in the hitch. There is nothing to take off/turn off. Some anti-sway hitches have a separate piece that you have to take off in wet or snowy weather...

Does the air suspension remove need for a weight distribution hitch?

So much good information on these forums from knowledgeable people. Thanks for sharing your experience!

Does the air suspension remove need for a weight distribution hitch?

Maybe someone with more knowledge than I can comment on the Andersen hitch, but I had done some reading and it was said that the Andersen was a good hitch if the trailer you had was over 8000lbs as anything lighter would have trouble getting enough weight distribution to the front of the truck...

Does the air suspension remove need for a weight distribution hitch?

This 100% ^^^^^^^^^^^.....I just recently upgraded our hitch from a hand-me-down that we got when we bought the trailer. I should have NEVER towed our trailer with it in the first place. The tech who put the new one on told me he was scared when he took it off and that hitch "had no business...

Going to order a 21 Big Horn

Agree on the 3.92. It's always nice to have a little more capability than you need. I tow a 29' holiday trailer which is about 7600lbs fully loaded. I average around 12-13mpg when towing. Just putting around the city, I'm closer to 19mpg according to the lie-o-meter in the truck. I haven't...

12" Screen Protector - the OCDplug

I went with this one because of the matte finish. I was looking at the Kykr brand that was very highly recommended here on the forum and the one they had on Amazon Prime here in Canada was glossy and was almost $100 for the kit. The OCDplug was $50 US and with the conversion, it was still...

    Floor Mat Recall

Geezus Murphy.....that is p*&s poor as far as I'm concerned. They cut holes in your all weather floor mats and just leave them open for liquid, dust, dirt etc to go through? What is the point of even having them in there then? That is brutal. I stand by my statement......they are staying as is.

Thinking about switching from a Tacoma... Advice?

I have not owned a Tacoma, but my dad owned 2 of them and I drove them both on occasion. I will say that they do not compare to comfort and ride of the Ram. In my opinion, the Tacos rode like a shopping cart, and I always found I was banging my shins getting in and out of them. I couldn't...

    CarPlay Audio Question

I find the clarity is fine when in Bluetooth, but I have to turn the volume WAY up to hear it. I find that Airplay works the best as I can get clarity with the volume as well. My Ford was the same way...Bluetooth didn't have the same amount of clarity as plugging in with the USB, which makes a...

Ate a rock on the A pillar this weekend

I would find a good autobody shop who offer paintless dent repair.....those guys are worth their weight in gold. They may be able to fix the paint as well without too much hassle. I had a deer run into the side of my old truck and I took it to a shop to get it repaired. The dent covered...

    Floor Mat Recall

I have to say this is the most ridiculous recall I've ever seen. If a person doesn't know enough to take the time to ensure the mat goes UNDER the pedal, there are bigger issues afoot.....I'm very happy with the MOPAR mats and have no intention of cutting or adjusting them.
