    Ram srt-10

I’m doing Belltech Spindles and the same as ferraiolo in the rear. Hopefully all the parts arrive and I can install it before the end of the month.

What did you do to your Ram today???

Mine as stopped me from colliding with many things…my own tailgate, my trailer(which was attached and straight), grass, small mound, and the wind.

What did you do to your Ram today???

It’s the worst!! Head slams into the headrest and i go into a panic wondering what I just hit. I keep it on because I think one day it might save me.

    Rock Crawler’s 2/4 Drop Saga

Same for my rear maxtrac box. I guess I really do need to order the bar then. I figured it would come quick.

What did you do to your Ram today???

I changed the oil too. Literally didn’t spill a drop! I used a quart sized ziploc for the oil filter For whatever reason this was the smoothest the oil change had ever gone. I installed a Fumoto oil drain valve this time so hopefully next time is even easier.

    Rock Crawler’s 2/4 Drop Saga

Some of my parts have arrived. Waiting on the Spindles. They say shipped, but no date yet. I haven’t ordered the Spohn panhard bar or airbags yet. I guess I need to get that on order.

    Ram with no air filter!

Get the oil changed. Other than that there is nothing to do.

    Rock Crawler’s 2/4 Drop Saga

The rear shocks are for a 90s Ford Ranger. Lol.

    Rock Crawler’s 2/4 Drop Saga

I really wouldn’t bother swapping to those. They are designed with lifting in mind. Not really the right dampening and shock set up for a lowered truck. I think you will lose ride quality in the front over the stock struts

    Rock Crawler’s 2/4 Drop Saga

I ordered the Belltech spindles today as well. I ended up doing the same rear setup as ferraiolo1. Maxtrac rear kit with 4inch lowering springs, bilsteins, and spohn bar. I’m curious to hear your experience with the Timbergrove bags. I may switch to those at some point.

    Rock Crawler’s 2/4 Drop Saga

You don’t have shocks in the front. They are struts. If your doing Belltech spindles there is no reason to change them. If you have to have bilstein in the front you could do a 5100 (used for lifting the front usually) set to stock ride height. Or you could run Belltechs coil over set to stock...

    Rock Crawler’s 2/4 Drop Saga

You’ll need shorter swaybar end links and shocks.

Correcting rear suspension geometry when lowering 2WD

I think you can get by and be fine without doing them at 4 inches because you are still in range of the factory geometry. Same with going back to stock. You are still in range with the correction brackets.

Correcting rear suspension geometry when lowering 2WD

No. You can just put the factory springs back in and go back to stock. "These 4-link relocation bracket – CUT KIT will require customer to cut OEM brackets off differential. If customer want to go back to stock, he simply leaves the bracket in place and re-install OEM springs. Now, if customer...
