I was actually wondering the same thing, because isn’t the blend door located after the heater core and within the dash? I don’t understand how a valve, to just restrict coolant flow to the heater core have any effect on the operation of the blend door? I myself have my valve at about 50% now...
I use an electric pressure washer, small one from Lowe’s for less than $100 that came with a small soap cannon, and just bought a cheap ($12) bigger soap cannon that I can hopefully try out tomorrow. I’ve used it few times so far and love it. Makes it much easier. 1700psi and 1.7gpm. No...
Not a problem. I was inquiring for myself, came across the info and figured I’d share with the forum. Exactly, it’s all in the proper spacer and correct installation. A much more inexpensive way to get a wider stance/track width.
I’ve been in an email conversation with Motorsport tech regarding wheel spacers for a couple days now. Nothing but positive things to say, timely responses and answers all questions. I asked about a military discount and he said they don’t have one but always willing to work with people. He gave...
I’m about to go the same 2” spacer route but with stahl. I want steel for more load capabilities. I’ll also most likely use anti seize to try and avoid things sticking and seizing.
im looking at an all season like a nitto 420(s or v) or a toyo proxes. also that size tire has more of load capacity than the OEMs by roughly 300lbs per tire, which in turn will be better for towing my future travel trailer.
Done correctly, with proper spacers (not eBay/amazon specials) they aren’t any worse than any aftermarket wheel with less offset compared to oem. And people with aftermarket wheels run them for many years and miles with no extra maintenance to drivetrain or suspension components. My rig is a...
Yea mines pretty good too, I have about 1.25” of rake still. But even across the board with ford and Chevy I’m pretty sure the step after a reverse level is 2/4 then it keeps going. I don’t think I’ve seen a 1/3.
I’m going to be getting a travel trailer in the next few months so a set of wheels and tires will be put on hold. But in the meantime I was think about just getting some spacers to bring the wheels out a little. Does anyone see any issue towing with wheel spacers? It’ll be a just under 5k dry...
im half tempted to try cutting my factory rear springs to a point where it sits a little lower than the 2" drop springs currently in the truck. I know ill never want to go back to stock height again, and if I mess up then ill always have the 2" drop springs to fall back on.
I currently have the 2” drop springs in the rear and love the look, still have about 1.25” of rake which will be perfect for towing when I get my travel trailer. But I’ve also been contemplating going slightly lower. I don’t want to go the only other option which is the 3/5 kit. I would honestly...
Carven muffler swap, welded the rear resonator drain holes and gave her a bath. Exhaust is perfect for me. Nice rumble on start up and normal acceleration, speaks the truth when you get on her but absolutely no drone at cruising speed even highway. Only time will tell how much drone their will...
Hey, so is anyone else’s rear parking sensors ultra sensitive, to the point of picking up things that aren’t there and the truck slamming the brakes? My truck has done is for shrubs, which is actually something. But my truck has also done it backing out of a friends driveway that is a minor...
