did you have to trim down the lugs at all? It looks great, I think when it’s time to get new tires I’m gonna go with 305/45, so a nice flush or mild negative offset stance would be nice.
I’m not going to lie, the 3/5-4/6 kit looks killer, but I can’t afford that and helper bags right now. Plus I just recently got my 2” lowering springs and timbren SES for the rear.
Yea they did change it lol and I’m liking the 0-3” front and 4” rear drop option. I’m not trying to go as low as 3/5 or 4/6 but they are good looking kits.
I just verified via mopar factory parts that 2wd uses coil and shock separate set up and 4wd uses shock strut coil combo set up. I’ll look at my truck when I get off work. But that makes me wonder if I can either swap (crown 4th gen lowering spring) or do a minor cut to drop the front a hair.
I can’t speak for the 19 classic, but when I looked up springs and shocks for oem replacement the same part number came up. I obviously could also be looking at it all wrong, just attempting to think outside the box.
Also kind of on topic, I just got off the phone with crown suspension and they’re in works of a lowering kit as well. From my research, please correct me if I’m wrong, but the 5th uses the same springs as the 4th gen. The rep from crown said the difference is weight. I also just looked that up...
So while I was looking at the belltech 2/4 drop, I decided to contact them to see if they were in works on a kit for 19. Still awaiting response, but it got me thinking. So I went to mopar parts and I came across some interesting information, it turns out the springs and shocks are the same part...
when you get that done post an update, cuz I’ve started to get interested in that kit as well but I also have a 32’ TT 6500lb dry weight to worry about. I have a nice WDH with plenty of adjustability if I go that low, but a good helper bag set up would be required.
i bet lol but I really don’t feel like running premium, I already run premium in the wife’s explorer ST. So I think I would just run 89 and tow mds off. Thanks for the input, I appreciate it. How long have you had the pulsar? Any issues?
Nvm I re read your comment, forgive me I’m running on a 1 hr nap in the past 30hrs. You were talking about performance mode, have you ran it in towing mode.... perhaps while towing and unloaded.
Currently set up with a carven muffler swap, 2wd with rear lowering springs. I run 89oct. I’ve been thinking about a pedal commander/equivalent or pulsar and a drop in air filter. Yes a supercharger and tune would be lovely and may come way down the line. Just more curious if there is anything...
Looking for input on what y’all would think the most reliable (power) modifications would be for a daily driver and occasional tow pig. Any and all suggestions are welcome, and yes I expect to hear “just keep it stock, it’s plenty powerful”.
I just got an email response from edge stating that initially their were some issues, and I quote “connections not making contact where they should, but issues have sense been resolved”. And Incase anyone was wondering they offer a military discount, you just have to order directly thru them and...
