Installed the Hellwig rear sway bar with my 13yr old son last night. Was a nice Father-Son project and speaks to the ease of replacing the stock sway bar. The only issue we had was the the bolts Hellwig provided to connect their brackets to the frame required an Allen key which we didn’t have...
Just finished installing Husky mud guards. I did drill in the extra screw rather than relying on the adhesive tape. I had read some reviews about ‘flapping’ noises occurring once the adhesive comes off. I also figured the Western PA winters required a more secure fit.
Easy to install. The flaps...
Yes. Yes it was.....all my savings from the purchase of the truck have nearly gone into all this aftermarket stuff I am doing. Totally worth it IMHO to keep this truck looking as nice as possible for years to come.
Xpel Ultimate PPF installed over 85% of the truck.
Window tint:
Clear 98% UV/IR blocking applied to rear window, rear passenger windows, and windshield
70% tint with 98% UV/IR to Driver and Passenger windows (See first pic with driver's door open for tint level)
50% tint with 98% UV/IR to...
I am going all in with Dethloff. Gave a deposit for the new build (6-8 weeks). He says it is similar to what is seen on their website which features a Rebel, but the new rack will have some different contours along the rear window.
No pics to share as yet. Will fit RamBoxes with MFT.
I had sent him photos of that truck.
From Marcus Dethloff:
“That is a neat looking rack! That said, it has entirely different design concepts in mind.
....Something like what is pictured would be a custom item that would need to ship in a massive freight crate and would negate all of the...
So I am having PPF and Window tint put on our new truck (one week of ownership as of today)....I came across this warning and wanted to pass it along for anyone else considering tinting their windshield. The concern is water frying out the computer module that runs under the front dash on the...
I have the same bike rack, but on my Cayenne. I am considering a tailgate pad for the truck....looking at the RaceFace T2 and Bachelor Pad models. Then I'd have two vehicles that can lug bikes around to separate locations so I don't always have to go where my son wants to ride.
I am putting a deposit down for the contour rack. Marcus at Delhloff is telling me that they'll have 2020 fitment ready in about 6-8 weeks.
No pics as yet.
Sorry.
I had given the truck to have the PPF and Window tint installed. I forgot to look at the payload sticker. My apologies. Truck should be back in about a week.
Did you add washers along the bedrails themselves or is it with the Retrax rails? Just curious as to how your got it to fit and seal so nicely when others with RamBoxes have had issues getting a water-tight seal.
