It was a must have when I was searching for my truck this past summer. I lost the sight in my right eye March of last year and it really helps those lane changes. It is also really nice when backing out of a parking spot since it warns you when other cars are coming.
Did your light brackets look like mine in the pictures attached? The brackets in the original post look different than what came with mine. I'll play around with it and see how far down they go with the bracket I have.
I liked this idea. Great Job. I ordered these lights using the link above and my bracket that came with the lights does not look like the one you have. I tried to attach some pictures but it won't let me. I notice now there are some pictures on the Amazon listing which show the bracket I...
I installed the same speakers in my truck and I have the Alpine system. I did not install the bass blockers (capacitors) that came with the speakers since the amplifier only sends the higher frequency sounds to those speakers - at least that was my understanding. I have had no issues doing it...
They seem hit and miss. They have a few different web sites that are all the same company such as RealTruck and RunningBoardWarehouse. I ordered my running boards from them since they had a sale going on and they arrived without the hardware. They sent that out quickly and replaced a T-bolt...
It might be hard to see if it is almost under the front of the console cover door. Look on the rear side and it should be there. You can remove the liner and put the coin holder in the front if you want.
ksn240 - Thanks for the info. I guess I will wait a while since all I would gain is more bass. I'm a little cautious about removing my door panels - I might mess something up.
Will replacing the front door speakers on an Alpine system be an improvement? Just wondering since all I hear from my front door speakers are low frequency notes - not much of anything else. I thought I read that is the way it is for the Alpine system from the amplifier under the seat. Is...
I have the same issue after I use Android Auto. The phone presets stay there fine until then. I quit putting them in. Does this happen with Apple Play or people who use neither?
I haven't done it yet but I have read many posts on this forum where people have (I have replaced the front dash speakers). You do not have to remove the overhead liner but the grill on the speakers is supposedly very tough to remove. There are tabs in each corner and from what I've read you...
Just FYI. My truck has a July 2019 build date and after reading this thread I checked and I do have the seal on the bottom between the cab and bed. I have the Lone Star Trim. I only notice a "wind" noise when there is actually higher winds outside. It varies from side to side depending on...
I'm talking about the favorites you enter in the Uconnect system that show up on the top of the screen. I think there are 6 of them. They are in the same spot as your SiriusXM and Radio presets when you switch screens to phone.
I do have my fader two "clicks" to the rear. Changing out the back door speakers didn't do weird things with the ANC system? Did you have to turn down the mids and highs before doing the back door speakers? Thanks.
I did all three speakers at the same time and thought there was a noticeable difference but not wow. As time went on I thought they sounded pretty bad but then I started tweaking the equalizer and turned down the mid and high frequencies a lot and now they sound much better.
I haven't heard of a fix and mine still does it. There is no need to put in favorites because they will just disappear at some time. I plan to mention this to the dealer when I go in for my free oil change. Might be a while. I just reached 2,000 miles and I bought the truck in late July of...
