That is likely the problem, then. I had hexagonal nutserts, but the holes in the bed were round (at least they appeared to be, as they were covered with sprayed in bed liner). The bed liner made it impossible to get them in without relieving the holes a bit, which undoubtedly rounded out the...
Thanks. That may just have to be the solution, it seems. I even stopped by the local Ram dealer and talked to the service dude, who a) didn't have the tool; b) hadn't ever installed the rails; and c) couldn't figure out how the Mopar instructions could possibly work as written.
Since Harbor...
Hey there,
Fedex just delivered a present - the Bed Utility Rails I ordered. I'm about to start the install, and want to make sure I'm not making this harder on myself than it needs to be.
They mount to existing holes in the bed walls, using M6 nutserts and corresponding bolts. The Mopar...
I installed the Westin HDX wheel to wheel a little over a week ago on my 19 Rebel. I initially thought that last bracket wouldn’t fit, too, until I realized that for the 5’7 “ bed, you have to reverse the driver and passenger side brackets. They were a pain to get in there, but they fit (most...
I've talked to Vice Designs, and they're still working on a design for the winch bumper for the 2019 Rebel, as well as a winch mount that would use the factory bumper. The guy I talked to estimated that it would be done in the next month or so. I'm definitely eager for it!

I had the same issue, but thankfully only once (knock on wood) and it was fixed by turning the truck off and then back on. It was showing me about three miles south of the highway I was driving down. Had the speed right, but just had me in the wrong place, and only when I plugged into the truck...
That is definitely a bummer when the dealership sets the wrong expectation. On the plus side, you have a loaner at least, so you can slam the miles on that puppy. Any long road trips you need to knock out while you have their truck?

I have the Westin HDX wheel to wheel bars. They look and function well. The rearmost mounts can be a pain in the *** (do NOT use an impact to try to remove the bolt from the captive welded-in frame nut in the bed, use a breaker bar and go slowly instead), but they turned out great.
That is quite similar to what I'm doing. It's going to be slightly different (I'll post some pictures when I get done for sure) but is definitely in the less is more category. A few things here and there just to break up that large swath of white.

I ordered the HD on 4/15 from AutoAnything, and while it was originally scheduled to ship between 4/23 and 4/25, they've updated that to May 9. Not a fan of that delay, and if they delay further, I'll cancel and order directly from Diamondback, but I'm definitely eager to get it in hand and...
That definitely
That definitely stinks. I've had the same trouble. Even late at night, the gauges are too dim, or blazingly bright. There's no in between. That's honestly my only beef about the truck so far.

Awesome information. Thanks for the quick and comprehensive reply! I'm definitely looking forward to getting it in, as it looks fantastic. I'll definitely need that stepladder and moving blanket, too!
Thanks again for the great post!

I'll admit to being a bit naive on this one. Just got a 2019 Rebel in white. The area where the plugs go, though, is not white. I haven't the foggiest what color they call it. Anyone have any idea?
Thanks,
B
That looks awesome! I'm eagerly awaiting mine, which was supposed to ship today, but apparently has been delayed two weeks. Ugh. How long did it take to get yours?
Thanks,
B
