I found this one to maybe use as the secondary battery. It says that with my 220 amp alternator it should handle a 3,000 - 4,000 watt system. But I wouldn’t know what isolator I can use for this setup with the...
I’m trying to see if anyone has upgraded to a lithium battery under their hood. I’m going to finish my audio system upgrade and I plan to only run an XS Power lithium battery in place of the stock one. I already upgraded my alternator to a 220 amp factory one and with the battery I’m planning to...
The only reason I am planning to run new 14 gauge speaker wire is, I’m planning to put over 100 watts to each speaker and possible mid upgrade later to over 200 watts.
I say go with dual 10’s. I started with a single 12 but that didn’t last too long. I also need to make time to rewire all the speakers to 14 gauge, then get my 300 amp alternator and xs power battery before I can finally tune it to full power, 3500+ watts rms.
You will not need the PAC module, the AR uses the same T harness as the DSR1 to connect to the factory harness and also it will have speaker wire leads to connect to the amplifier.

I have a 2020 Big Horn with the Alpine system and I used the DSR1 to integrate my aftermarket amplifiers. There are a few issues that it has but other than those issues it works great. First issue is the Bluetooth failed connection on the app start up and the second is that it doesn’t play well...
The thing about car audio, is that it’s all subjective to what sounds good. So I would say to customize it to your sound preference and your budget. With that said I found the best way for me to fully customize my truck’s audio, was with the Rockford Fosgate DSR1.
The only draw back to using...
I have been looking at some of these HD springs for my truck, since I’m usually hauling material. But I have yet to pull the trigger, so idk if it will actually work...
Your best bet is to have a custom box built for them to have the right air space and most likely you will need to raise your rear seats at least 1 1/2”. I raised mine 1” to fit my subs with 7” mounting depth.
I would recommend the Rockford Fosgate DSR1, it has the dsp built in and it completely bypasses the anc all together. It also has a lot of tuning features in it. I like that you can set your filters and the crossover points for each individual set of speakers without having to adjust them on...
My truck had the 180 alternator but I was able to find a used 220 alternator off eBay for under $100. And I know what you mean, I’m only able to enjoy the full experience when I’m solo. Do you have any pictures of the big 3 upgrade? I’m planning to do that a lil later.
