Have a v6 penstar ram bighorn crew cab. Is lifting it 2-3” with bigger tires going to stress the engine too much? Stupid question I know since jeeps do it. Anyone have photos of theirs? Just tinkering with the idea.

Well I took the suggestion and ran with it. Flush mounted one and then added a second one. Ended up mounting two MagSafe chargers. Fits clean!

Ok cool. I’ll give that a try and see how it works. You are right, it might look better.

That was one of the ideas that I had as well. The only drawback of that is you don’t see the phone screen from simply looking down as well however, the trade-off is a much cleaner look I might make a second one like that to see.

I had the same fear. I got the ones from Rough Country. Installed in summer but still needed a couple tuff pushed to fit. But they fit like a glove. For anyone installing them… make sure you clean the well real well AND dry it before installing. I give them a 10/10
