Decals to “hide” the MFT seam

When I wrapped my truck I also wondered about a design I could make to incorporate the seam in some way. I don't think there's really any way to hide it completely, so my approach was to actually highlight it and make it a central part of the design (mopar double stripe-like). That could be a...

What is up with the brittle glass?

Yeah I figured. I literally commented on another members post about this exact thing happening on the pano roof. Took note it was a possibility, but did not expect the side windows to be vulnerable to this. Could you imagine driving and this happening?! That's a lawsuit waiting to happen. The...

What is up with the brittle glass?

So this literally just happened. Currently 11C out. Was parked outside at work with all the windows slightly down and the sliding window open. Sun wasn't even facing this side when I left work. Got in, no AC, just cool air set at 4. Did a quick errand (10mins) then parked at home where it sits...

    Trx Body panels

The TRX hood is just sexy. I'd love to have that on my Sport too but as the guys above mentioned, I don't think its an easy swap.

    DIY Vinyl Wrap

Below is the bad. Because its not perfect by any means ladies and gents. From a distance not so bad right? Here's an example of why a fresh, sharp blade (that I cut myself with many times) is important. When trying to cut around the RAM head and the handle the vinyl tore a bit instead of...

    DIY Vinyl Wrap

Finally after all the hours of work spanning weeks, I gave her a quick wash and did some karate kid wax on magic. She's complete! Again, first time I've ever wrapped anything before let alone a truck, but if I can do it so can you. Below is the 360 view I mentioned getting around to. Feel free...

    DIY Vinyl Wrap

Appreciate the compliment! The labor is definitely the main cost for work like this. In total, I've spent close to 40 non consecutive hours. A shop quoted me getting it all done and good to go in 2, maybe 3 days tops. That's a huge difference, but obviously its how they make money and they're...

    DIY Vinyl Wrap

Ok so took me a long time to get back to this. Weather has been rainy and just garbage so I didn't get around to finishing this up for a few days. It's great from 10 feet! But it's not pretty up close 😅 I'll upload a full 360 after I get a chance to wash this bad boy up!

    DIY Vinyl Wrap

Yeah it's just tedious work man. The material itself isn't that hard to work with but some panels are definitely trickier to do in a single piece. Going from flat to a curved surface creates creases in the material that can be difficult to work out. But yes by far the most amount of work is...

    DIY Vinyl Wrap

Haha no I'm leaving them untouched for the moment. That's going to be a ridiculous amount of work and I'm not looking forward to that at all 😄

    DIY Vinyl Wrap

For a full wrap? Probably 90ft. If you're just doing the front end I'm sure you can get away with 20-30ft. I don't have experience with Expel and I know that's a wet install so not sure how that will differ really. Be cool to hear your thoughts because I was looking to have my rockers and entire...

    2021 Led lights

Probably won't help many people on here but if you're in Alberta (specifically Calgary), Big6ix Industries is an LED company that hooks it up. Got my 3rd brake light swapped to LED and not a single issue. My brother did a full LED conversion on his 2018 Sport a couple years ago now and so far so...

    DIY Vinyl Wrap

I posted in another thread looking for recommendations on wrap shops but figured this should get its own since I decided to forego a professional install and give wrapping a shot on my own. Wanted to share updates and have a place for anyone looking to do the same to post any possible questions...

    35's on stock 2021 18's / no lift ?

From what I've read on here its possible with trimming. However to guarantee fitment without level/lift on stock suspension the largest you should go is 33". I currently run this with zero rub, but I also went with pretty much stock width too. Could probably get away with 34" as well but...

How are the stock tires in the snow?

I've got the Falkens on mine. Performed really well in the snow for me although icy conditions you're fluffed unless you get them studded. The KO2's are also great tires from what I've heard and very popular so you have a lot of first hand accounts here to go off of. Personally I went with the...

    Vinyl Wrap Recommendations? (Canada)

Thanks! From afar it doesn't look too bad. Once you get in close to inspect that's when the quality of work tanks. The hardest part on this panel was where the bed curves to the tailgate above and below the light. Also behind the bumper as I didn't take that off. Lesson learned for the other...

    Vinyl Wrap Recommendations? (Canada)

So I found a pretty great deal on a 75' Roll of 3M's 2080 Series Vinyl that was unopened in the box on the FB Marketplace and well, I did a thing... It's honestly not as hard as it looks, but it's also not easy by any means. I've never wrapped anything before and even considered cutting off a...

    Aftermarket tailights coming out soon??

Yeah that makes no sense. I am in Canada but the distributor here deals directly with Recon so for them to tell me its backordered to June is confusing. Could be that they give American customers priority, but still. That's a ridiculous difference in expected delivery times. I just opted out. I...

Real world MPGs / What are you averaging?

Just did a 1200km trip (last night). Averaged 12.4L/100km going roughly 120km/hr for the majority of the trip, only one stop along the way. Seemed pretty good to me but take that for what you will. Sorry I don't know what that is in American and I'm too lazy to math right now. 😄

    Question for Northerners...

I feel compelled to reply to this thread. If you Google where I live it's the definition of "north" 😄 (Literally, Northwest Territories). When I had my old Toyota Pickup, I added sandbags in the box only because it was such a light truck. Two people could literally lift the rear wheels off the...
