Yes eco light is active, although unless changed from 4th gens, the eco light isn't an indication of MDS being active, just that you are driving in an economical manner. ( Usually when your live mpg is a bit lower than the avg )
None the less, I have zero drone in my truck with the flowfx...
Thats weird, the only time mine sounds different is when the MDS kicks out, other than that while driving I can't really hear it as it quiets down to a mellow growl.
I have zero drone as well. The girlfriend even thinks it sounds good. My dad who I didn't tell that I put the flow master on...
Mine was wonky when I first got my truck too. Couple shots of WD40 on the latches and normal usage now it’s working perfect. I think the latches stick bit if not used for a long period. You could hear the actuators working but it wouldn’t release. Lubed up the latches and good to go
Its been working exactly as the oem setup does minus the switch on the drivers side light does not work. No big deal. The lights come on when the tailgate is down anyway so I don’t believe I’d use the switch anyway.
I dont have have pictures of the wiring but if you follow the guide I posted...
Thanks Laura but I’m in canada so there isn’t much you can do unless things have changed.
If a a fix is found I don’t mind applyping it myself. Although my dealership is awesome when it comes to customer service
I was looking at this system, but for almost 900 dollars and the fact that the actuator in it would probably only last a year or two around here ( gotta love the east coast of Canada and its salt ) I opted for the standard FlowFX kit and couldn't be happier.
For someone not in the salt belt it...
I can't say what was going on with the air suspension to make it act up, I do know that the air ride is active with the truck off as well. ( was in the showroom with a sales man and he sat on the tailgate and the truck levelled itself off while sitting in the showroom )
So my guess would be...
Rim size won't have much effect on MPG, its more of what tire your running. Offroad / mud tread patterns have more rolling resistance than a street tire will.
The problem with modding ( exhaust, CAI, etc ) is that once you get those things on, while they will help some with efficiency, it'll...
Don't forget the usually over looked,
Alignment in spec
Tires properly inflated
Dont jack rabbit start when taking off, leave easily
From what I've read larger / more aggressive tires and a lift will also hurt MPG numbers, also when switching tires look at the weight of tires, heavier tires =...
I had done a similar thing to the engine cover on my '16 RAM and figured why not on the '19. The white is a pearl white vinyl that matches the tri coat ivory pearl paint and the HEMI is done in a gunmetal grey vinyl.
Theres a fuse panel below the steering wheel, behind the knee panel. 2 Screws and it'll pop off. There should be both keyed power and constant power that you can tap into
